Beason situation dire.

I wonder if there is any way he will be back this season? any way possible that he HASN'T torn it? I am no doctor and am ignorant when it comes down to medical information but I assume that Beason has a chance it isnt torn and could be back this season?

One other question, what was Beasons injury that kept him out of the preseason?

With the way he went down, it's his Achilles and it's torn. The question is it a full rupture (hope not) or a partial tear.

Even with all the good things in the game, This ruined it all. We had the best (Him or Willis) MLB in the league go down with an injury that robs players of their careers. Best player on the team, Leader, Captain, I can go on. This to me sucks more than going 2-14 last year. I pray that he can return to the beast he is and play out that fat contract we just gave him.

The only good thing is that it happened this season when we are rebuilding. Also do we still have the same medical/training staff from last year and the year prior? If so they should be replaced.

670 the Score in Chicago reporting Beason is done for the year. Saying ruptured Achilles tendon will send Beason to the IR. They did not quote a source however so who knows. I am holding out hope and sending all my FORCE in his general direction.

Isn't your force from the dark side?

Hope they're wrong, but won't be surprised if they're right.

All that guaranteed money spent by Hurney..........

What the heck does Hurney paying Beason "all of that guaranteed money" have anything to do with his injury status???? A player as great as JB is going to have a guaranteed contract. Yeah, I agree I've wanted to throw the guy off the top of the Duke Energy Building before but come on Man.....give Hurney a break once in awhile! I don't know of ANY General Manager that is perfect...what is Indy going to do now that Peyton is out and the great Bill P didn't have a back-up plan???
