Do we keep Godfrey at Safety Now?

Just asking, the nickel situation seemed pretty solid today. Captain and Butler played pretty well and yeah i know it was the Jaguars but I still would like to have Godfrey at Safety full time. Because of today, I myself would have confidence in Butler playing that role next week.

I think a lot of that had to do w/ the fact the Jags are pretty much a run only team. Against the passing offenses......until Butler or someone really steps up I think bringing Godfrey down makes sense for now.

Our injuries in the secondary weren't exposed b/c of the opponent not being able to.

    • I've also seen agents saying certain players don't want to come to / be drafted by Charlotte as they don't want to play with Ball.
    • If there is 1 thing this team has shown it is more than capable of, it is heart-breaking disappointment. I wait until there are some preseason games before I get too optimistic, because I cannot think of a time when we looked bad in preseason and it didn't directly translate to the regular season. There has never been a switch this team could throw and turn it on, even in the good years. Regarding the Atlanta game, I am hesitant to make much of it. Don't get me wrong..wins are nice, and wins against hated rivals are even nicer. On its own though, it might just be that, and not a trend.
    • Oddly enough, the Panthers did the right thing trading CMC.  He was going to command a huge contract as a home grown, fan favorite and great player when healthy.
