"Wahh Wahh we didn't win"

Shut up. Yeah, the losses hurt and yeah, we can be 4-0. But we're not.

We're a young up and coming team with a superb rookie QB, a great WR, and two good TEs. We're young and we're learning how to win. It's going to take time. These "moral victories" you guys keep bitching about actually DO help the team, but they feel worse about the losses than any of us do.

All these "Fire X" threads are dumb, grow up.

We'll get better, just hang tight.

Also since everyone else is doing it GTFO Naanee.

Not saying that.

Trust me I'm mad as hell that we lost.

Just put it in perspective.

Dip, that is what MBs are for. You don't like it, go back to playin with your self. Stay off the MBs til you can take it.

Detroit is a good road map for this team. By the end of this year, we are going to catch fire. 4 to 5 wins in a row to end the season after struggling early.

I never liked the term moral victory. A loss is a loss. But if this team can learn and grow this year, we can be like detroit next year. Part of winning is knowing what it takes to not lose. Taking our bumps now, grow through out the year, have a good draft, and then take the league by storm.

Having said that, i wish i had a time machine, thats a long time to wait.

    • I just don't think some guys have it. Darnold has the panic gene. I don't think there's any fixing it. He looks really good as long as the play develops as drawn up or if he gets pressured immediately and has to go to his check down right away. It's when he has decent protection and his first read isn't open and he's standing back there in the pocket with that panic slowly building. That's when he does disastrous poo.
    • based on the QBs drafted #1 comparison thread, he’s right where he should be. if your expectations were to have a rookie lead us to the playoffs without an OL and WR corps, maybe your expectations were a bit off.
    • at some point, though, you just have to suck it up and accept it and deal with the bad deal you got.  you go through funks where you keep making mistakes and hope that you get it figured out sometime soon, but in the learning process you realize you could have done some things better but you're stuck with decisions you make. you have two choices...whine about it or just brush it off and hope can make the situation you put yourself work. i know a lot of people in here have probably never experienced or dealt with failure much in their lives, but i have and i learned to just suck it up and try to make the best of the situation you've got yourself in because you realize that you're stuck with it for a while. doesn't do any good to keep harping over what you wish you had done better. you already know that. now it's just about moving forward from here and making the best of it and hoping you can make something of it. it's the easiest thing in the world to look at where Bryce falls short...and yes, that was intentional. everyone knows that and all that is done is beating that horse laying on the ground. what takes some work is trying to see how it can work and if they have done and are doing things to help the situation get better.
