Why are refs untouchable?? they are never fined or fired or suspended except in rare cases.. these guys sure know how to screw over teams just based on how they feel at the moment.. fug that poo. For all you that love to say it's not the refs fault and you whine too much go suck a fat one.

Once the league starts to admit fault in the refs, everything questionable will be asked to be looked at and have refs disciplined for it, which will just start lead to people questioning the integrity of the game after some things are called out and some aren't by the league.

At full speed, I'm sure that pass interference call looked a lot worse. The announcers even said it happened until they watched a replay a couple times then changed their view about the call. I hate the call as much as any of you guys, but ish happens.

there were some BS calls but no more BS calls than there are each week. I can't blame the refs on this loss. I can blame Baker, the DTs, Naanee, the LBs, Mare and the rest of the special teams today. They all flat out sucked. offense looked great.

Yeah I accept that there will always be BS calls but this game had an absurd amount of bs calls..

Refs do get penalized, just not publicly. The league reviews the ref's performance and refs with poor track records don't get to ref big games (playoffs, Super Bowl) and eventually get fired. The key is that they don't get chastised publicly for the reasons Fright mentioned.

I dunno man.. if they do get fired we haven't seen the refs that need to be fired actually fired.

try making these calls at full speed and without HDTV, zoom and replay

derp I fuging hate this excuse more than almost any in sports.

IT'S THEIR fuging JOB TO BE ABLE TO OFFICIATE AT FULL SPEED WITHOUT REPLAYS. They're paid good money for it. If they can't handle it they should find another job.

And Cam, Smitty, Pugh get paid good money to throw completions, catch tough TD throws, and make tackles, but it doesn't always happen either. Sometimes it's a small thing, other times it's a difference-maker. Terrible calls, but it's just a part of the game.

    • Taking only players from the sheet that are realistically available in or after the listed round, I’d like… 1st: DT Caleb Banks (Styles not realistic) 2nd: LB Jacob Rodriguez 3rd: OT Best available from Bowry, Barber, and Casey 4th: CB Daylen Everette 5th: S Jalen Huskey 6th: RB Adam Randall 7th: IOL Best available from Lemieux, Dawkins, Leausa, and Brose   I know nothing about some of the players listed, but it seems like that would be the best way it could fall for now. I’m sure the list of who we meet will change a ton, and there will also be players we don’t meet with to keep quiet. I’d love to pick up Randall in the late rounds.
    • Not what I said. They know within the building why we aren't utilizing TEs more. If the rumors were true that we were seriously pursuing a couple of decent receiving TEs that strongly points toward a lack of quality receiving TEs currently on the roster. Does that mean we consider drafting one at 19? I don't know, but it wouldn't shock me and if we did there's only one guy it would be. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see TE drafting somewhere in the first three rounds.
    • Yeah, I don’t know. Tepper was behind the Bryce selection. Behind firings and hiring over his lack of development.  He doesn’t have to literally tell them their hands are tied for them to know this. It is in the air constantly. The Canales Bryce play calling was even portrayed by more than one person as Canales failing Bryce, instead of Bryce being responsible for his own performance (except when he does well, then it is all him). Now they have an extra coach in, to help the new OC get results from this QB.  The atmosphere is not welcoming to prototypical young QBs that have talent. You get Jake Plummer types or old vets. I think we are stuck.
