Ranking the Panthers on IR

I've decided to rank the guys on IR and the impact made on the team by their absence....#1 = most detrimental to our team.

#1 - Ron Edwards

#2- David Gettis

#3- Jon Beason

I'd say you're right in the $$ after this past game...

1-Forte doesn't run for 200 with a Pro bowl DT in there

2- naanee wouldn't even FUGGIN be here!!!! (4-0) with Gettis

3- heart and soul of defense

4- dudes a beast when healthy

Through the first 3 games I would have rearranged your list, but after this week I'd say you're spot on.

we could move beason to wlb, keep connor in the middle, and our lb corps would be better

not sure if fields would have made a HUGE difference. just seems like a guy. beason is one of the best defenders in the league, him being gone is huge

we didn't get run over by the Bears just b/c of the DTs. LB play was horrific....and so was S play.

I'd put Beason above Gettis. Dan connor really isnt even close. The gap between Gettis and Lafell is a bit closer IMO

just imagine this team with a starting caliber dt and gettis and beason still playing. maybe next year we can have a healthy team that others will fear.

our DTs got nothing to do with many of those Forte runs. He had lots of nice ones off the T and to the outside. LBs failed.

Meh, I saw at least two long runs right up the gut by the DT's, so I disagree with it being all on the LBs. I do agree for the most part with the ranking though. We really need a big fat DT that has some experience in there.
