I've had the worst nightmare last night

It was a game against Falcons and then everyone freaked out because Cam's leg just snapped and I freaked out and players on the field freaked out. And the team was done and everyone left

I can't believe Cam and this team is so deep in my subconscious

I also dreamed we beat Arizona in '08 so blah blah

FTW

I blame Debbie Downers here who cry when he does QB sneak on 1st and goal. Go fug yourself

Hmm sucks for you your mind works like that. My dream last night was that the Panthers beat the Falcons 70-42. Maybe it is because I stay positive through everything and don't let what people say on the Huddle get to me.

There is nothing and I mean nothing you can say or do to effect the way Cam plays or any injuries he might get in the game. Jinx? No such thing!

If I had a voodoo doll of Cam to send to anyone, I would dare them to twist off his legs or stick pins in his eyes while I laughed at them. I believe in a higher power and Jinxes are not part of that!

I also believe in Cam Newton and somehow doubt he be worried about such a Jinx. That would be under the "whatchu think?" category.

Don't know about Newton specifically, but athletes in general are notorious for being a rather superstitious lot.

Some fans are too, but happily that's never affected me (knock wood) :sosp:

    • I never thought a second look was even necessary. I was begging the football gods not to have us trade up to the 1st pick. And damn once we did it was a thoroughbred vs a little pony.    If you have a perceived generational player in the pool and you have the 1st pick, you just don’t trade it. In the first place. But all this Bryce drama - which (understandably) takes over almost any thread, just like this one - would never have happened if the team was not sold to Tepper.
    • I agree. I understand why he did though. And surely he had his parents in his ear who have always gone out of their way to make sure he always had the best and the least amount of adversity around him to that point in his life advising him to do so. Where I take the most issue with it is when people who just want to be sycophants start listing off other QB's who didn't throw at the combine and you don't even make it through half the names before your eyes roll right into the back of your head realizing every single of those QB's who didn't throw already clearly showcased the necessary prerequisite physical talents needed for the position.
