Newton has had good amount of time on many plays and hes in a gimmick offense. I agree he looks better than I thought he would however.

I can't really blame the Vikings fans for liking their QB more than our QB even if it is ridiculous.

I don't understand those who are bitter about it though, they have no reason to be since they weren't in position to pick Newton. They should instead be bitter about not picking Andy Dalton

Ponder played the manager role in yesterday's game. Nothing spectacular but no glaring mistakes. Most of his yards came on that underneath shuffle pass and dump off to AD for the TD.

TBH I think this was a great Draft for QBs. Newton,Dalton,Ponder, and even Gabbert will be starting next year. Newton and Dalton are proven even though its there first year.

I agree. The experts were dead wrong when they proclaimed this to be a weak QB class. The ironic part is that they all thought Mallett was the best of the bunch. I don't think so.
