In a way...exactly....the monster manipulates the victims by providing everything a child could dream of, and slowly bending that into submitting to the sick, twisted will of the abuser. PSU allowed Sandusky to utilize their facilities and events for years to facilitate his interactions with minor children after sordid details were discovered and communicated. It's beyond the pale....and many more lives were ruined by the inaction of those with the power to stop it.

It's a tough read...the monster used Penn State prestige, access, perks, facilities and a charity organization he founded to sexually abuse children....for years after he could have been stopped. He also hosted foster children at his home...

I have never seen anything like what I am watching right now on ESPN. Joe coming outside and the people cheering for him. This truly is a sad day to be an American. The guy turned a blind eye to SERIAL CHILD RAPE in order to save the institution of Penn State Football. This is appalling. Get into the sementics all you want about what he was told and in what context, but whether someone tells me "I saw a guy anally raping a ten year old" or "I saw a guy maybe fondling a ten year old unappropriately", I am going to respond the same way.

There are some things in life that trump every other thing that you do. This was a horrible, horrible decision made by Paterno, and it will forever stain anything he has done in his professional career.

And now these students rioting? I just cannot believe what I am watching here.
