What were most of the looks the Titans had on D?

I only saw bits and pieces while on the coast.

From a cursory browse of the play by play I noticed some quick stuff.

Multiple sacks on 1st down.

Lots of incompletes to the left side.

Lots of 3 and outs.

First 3 passes to Smitty was like 1,2 and 2 yards.

Just curious as to what most of thier looks were? Because they did an OUTSTANDING job on not allowing Cam to get any type of rhythm or confidence.

They blitz on running downs and sent 3 on passing downs. When they blitzed the pressure, got there pretty fast, and when they only sent 3 the pressure was still pretty constant, with a lot of people in coverage.

I think they took away Smitty and the TE's and dared us to beat them with our Number 2 receiver.

TBH I think a lot of it was Cam being a Rookie and not knowing that the CB/DB was coming. It was multiple Blitzes from the right side that Cam likes to run too and just down right good pressure on the oline. Bell was outmatched all day and Chud made no adjustments. Not only did they use Cams weakness but also Chuds because they knew he would give up on the run when they were down.

Titans didn't blitz much really. The pressure came from 4 up front just beating the crap out of our front.

They did on first down but after that they didnt have too because it was 2nd and a mile. But to say they didnt blitz much on first down would be incorrect.

blitzed on 1st down, while Chud kept calling deep passes (with Smitty jogging a few yards down field and then standing in place), leaving Legedu to take on the entire secondary...

Cam couldn't scramble because Byron Bell gave every Titans defensive player an invitation and directions to Cam in the backfield.

Titans ran a lot of nickel packages (not the 3-4 that's been mentioned here) They blitzed the nickel several times since our gameplan only called for our #2 WR and bad-day-to-have-a-bad-day TE to get the ball.

All in all, the Muppets could have played D and won.

    • I think where they would be picked if redrafted before both classes have played enough football to really tell.  Baker literally looked like a washout with us after Cleveland gave up on him, then turned world beater with the Rams, got a prove it deal with the Bucs and has looked awesome ever since. Asking where Ward would’ve went had he went in ‘24 is just stupid.  I’m no GM, but I wouldn’t have taken Williams #1 either.  I would’ve taken Joe Milton way higher than he went.  I think Shadeur should’ve been a first round pick this year.  Point being, opinions are like buttholes, everybody has one.  It’s my opinion that Ward has that “something special.”  I get that feeling that he’ll be an even better pro than he was a collegiate QB because of whatever that quality is.  I think he’s gonna surprise a lot of people, especially being such an under appreciated first overall pick.
    • Where do we get our T-shirts and hats? Pretty sure this is the first championship ever in professional basketball or football in Charlotte!
    • Nice turnaround for Kon.  I’m still a little worried about his ability to create for himself and others, but it was SL.  Come regular season, he will playing a much different role and shots will be there for him.  He showed some reason for hope - and not just him, but the whole squad.  I suppose for the first time ever, we have drafted and acquired enough young talent that we actually not only competed for once, but won the whole thing in summer league.     Kon, Simpson, and Sims made all the difference.  Almost every year prior I felt we always struggled because we usually didn’t have a floor general/real PG to get us into offense.  This was such a breath of fresh air.  And look at us!  We finally are champions!😂
