So I just got into an argument with my girlfriend because she asked me about a friend of hers, whose husband looks at porn sometimes to relieve himself.

She said that she saw it as a form of cheating, and I said that it was really only a way to relieve sexual needs if the other person wasn't in the mood and as long as it wasn't like interfering with their life and/or sex life. This pissed my girlfriend off.

She goes on to say that she thought "I was better than that", and she doesn't understand what guys need to do that stuff for, and that girls usually fantasize about the person they are with and guys should too. yada yada.

So this got me thinking how others might feel about it.... So what say you? Problem or no problem?

It's more of a personal issue than a male/female issue. I know plenty of girls who consider porn a very dirty thing, but I also know plenty of girls who have things even I would be ashamed of in their internet history.

The second type make better girlfriends.

Is it cheating? No. It's more about self-gratification, more about the act itself than the girl on screen who you forget 5 minutes later.

If my girlfriend didn't like me masturbating, though, it would definitely be an issue if she wasn't ready to service me at a whim. But cheating? No.

Sounds like someones insecure to me. If your partner can not find happiness in your happiness, just doesnt sound like the relationship is going to work.

Men are stimulated visually, while women find arousal in emotion. Both are stimulated through touch.

Easy answers... The problem with some women is they think men place an emotional tie to porn, while im sure in extreme cases some do, however many men use it to stimulate arousal to speed up the act so they dont have to walk around sexually frustrated all day...

As a man I will admit, I get really grumpy if I am in a Blue Ball situation...

Chicks- Chill out, its just a "tool" men use, be worried when you walk in seeing them screwing another woman.

      Seems to me that the Bucs have less fight in them now than they had in week 16. The real test is going to be if the Panthers can sustain focus and discipline throughout. With the Bucs being at home, maybe that gives them a little boost of confidence and energy.  Wouldn’t it be something if for ONCE the Panthers came out and dominated from the opening snap and just took this shook Bucs team to task?  If the Panthers see-saw form follows, we are in line for the W. Hard to say we have momentum but we do have a pretty clear pattern of following a loss with a win.  I’m going to say 24-16 Panthers!!

      When Parcell’s said Bryce better “walk on water”…..the implied concern wasn’t that the tiny QB could survive being hit.  It was acknowledging he would have to be extremely special to overcome the handicaps he would face at this level.  Which he isn’t and can’t.  which isn’t just being hit.  It’s being able to play in an NFL pocket and make NFL throws from it….and that ultimately is Bryce’s problem.  He doesn’t play well from a NFL pocket and can’t make all the throws as needed.  He can’t see as others can.  Which impacts the throws he does and doesn’t take.  It also impacts him bailing and killing plays and turning them into scrambles/dead plays

      9:30 kick off here in Scotland, which is better than the 01:20 early hours of Monday that I feared. Will definitely be watching, but probably wouldn't if it had been 0120 as I need to be up for work at 05:45. Falcons Saints is 6pm on the Sunday so will watch that too if it becomes relevant
