they can run on us.....anyone can.

From CBS Sports..

22Nov11-

Kevin Smith's NFC Offensive Player of the Week honor links his performance vs. Carolina with Detroit’s all-time greats. Smith is Detroit’s first RB to win Offensive Player of the Week honors since Barry Sanders did 14 years ago for a 184-yard effort vs. the Jets on Dec. 21, 1997. Sanders’ performance that day capped his team-record 2,053 rushing yard season.

But, hey, it's nobody's fault..

A loss means this team is worse than the '10 Panthers. The offense improved, but the defense regressed more than the offense improved. Injuries aside, they probably can't stop Curtis Painter. This will be a career game for him.

No way this team could be considered worse then the '10 team, regardless of our W/L record.

Indy is coming off a bye. They could come out a different team. They are at home. We can't win on the road. There are a lot of reasons to think it'll be Murphy's Law again this week (anything that can go wrong will go wrong). We have a tendency to get out coached in these types of situations.

I can't say that I have confidence that this is the week we get it right. More injuries on D! But...I'm tired of that worn out excuse. NE has like 7 starters on defense that were undrafted FAs. Coaching is the difference.

Indy is getting us at the lowest point of our season. As I write this it is becoming clear that Indy has a pretty good shot at the upset.

I do think that if the Panthers do win, it will be by more that 3.5 points. I smell either a Panthers blowout or an Indy upset.

3.5 is one of the smaller spreads the Colts have had in the last 6 weeks or so. Kind of speaks out about how little faith Vegas has in us anymore.

To heck with Vegas..... I have no faith in the Panthers (defense, that is)....

It will be a dogfight.... it is at their house, right??? And I don't think they want to be stuck with 0-16 forever....... 1-15 is more palpaable....

We will find a way to lose..... count on it.
