Well I had heard people like champ bailey saying The Golden Calf of Bristol has inspired the defense.

Its mostly the same players as last year.

Also running the ball like they do does help a defense out.

The The Golden Calf of Bristol hate is funny to me.

1. I like The Golden Calf of Bristol. Good kid.

2. When Champ Bailey is step-for-step with Vincent Jackson, I'm pretty sure the thought that is running through his head is NOT "Golly gee! I sure can't let my boy Timmy The Golden Calf of Bristol down!"

The Golden Calf of Bristol is one Ray Lewis hit away from being out of the NFL.

He's not Vick. Like Newton, big QBs don't just fall apart when they get hit. They can take more punishment than people realize. It's not like he might hurt his canon arm or something. He is what he is, like Cam is what he is. They will never be a traditional QB. The NFL is changing. In 10 years, it will be hard to find a QB who isn't an athlete.

I don't like The Golden Calf of Bristol because he thanks god before he thanks his team. God doesn't help you win games Tim. He doesn't help you hit home runs or find your car keys. Thank your team. I'd like to thank my lord and savior Jesus Christ for helping me break a 20 yard touchdown against the Jets, oh wait, that was downfield blocks by my receivers, but fug them, thanks Jesus.

5-1?

Dude took a terrible team and made them playoff contenders.

Rule #6: Give credit where credit is due.

I credit his defense, his running game and the quality of the opponents they've beat.

The Golden Calf of Bristol has made some clutch plays, but giving him credit for the Broncos wins is a silly as blaming Cam for our losses.

whats funny is that if cam had won his last 3 games with a completion percentage of 50% or less, going 2 for 8 in a game, he would be crucified!!!

TRD and some of the others would take that and insist he's not a QB and credit everyone but him for the wins. Damn sure wouldnt use his "success" to slight a white QB that was a more prolific passer.

Meh, you're probably right. I'm not a big hater toward the guy, but like I said, he just rubs me the wrong way. He might be a super guy you'd love your sister to date, but he is just a little much for me. Just my opinion though.

    • No one's saying LaMelo has no blame we're responding to you acting like he's the reason they lost. The scapegoating and blaming the teams woes on his personality is where it's like Cam Newton all over again. It was a failure on multiple fronts and primarily Lee's. Dude said ON AIR pregame that they had to protect the paint and if that was his gameplan going in he couldn't have botched it more. As the commentators said Ball's a rhythm guy and Orlando was preventing him for getting any kind of flow going. I'm a normie watching on TV and said they needed to bait them into fouling to combat that. They didn't even try until the 2nd half when it was too late. I think it's fair to expect the star to overcome whatever but LaMelo was not the problem in that game and he's not what is holding the team back. He's the only reason they're flirting with being a great team. I kinda put the center play on Lee too. Moose is great until he's up against a big who can body him. We've always known that and that's what Kalkbrenner is for. I don't know if it would have changed much but Kalkbrenner should have had more minutes than him.  And moving forward with the center position, I just think it's the time to trade Diabate while his stock's high and that's not an indictment of his game. He's like an evolved combination of Biyombo and PJ. He's a great rim protector and the strength issue is just what you're going to have to deal with if you want that. But Kalkbrenner is perfectly capable of protecting the rim and we gotta get away from the undersized centers or it'll always be a problem for us.
    • Honestly its why that Jalen Coker grab was a big deal.  I'd been warming up to the idea of a sadiq pick and was adamantly against a receiver...but this altered my train of thought.  I mean For instance, Cade Otton signed for 3 yr 30 mil contract...thats not dramatically different than the rookie payscale for #19 (4 year 20 mil with 5th year option), however you KNOW otton is decent...no clue if Sadiq will be anything.
