Damn guys that is awesome... that's a serious accomplishment. You all should be proud. I'm proud that I've managed to keep it off and stay in the gym for as long as I have... especially after my surgery last year. I did NOT feel like going back to the gym, but I've been hitting it hard and it pays off.

I lost over 1/2 my weight. Honestly! 251 pounds!

Kannapolis Cable TV even featured me on a show. I was walking 9 miles a day, hitting the gym 4-5 times a week. I drank Met Rx for Breakfast and Dinner and ate a regular lunch. I lost so much weight, I had to have a tummy tuck!

If I can find the pics, I'll post them. (Maybe )

I have put on quite a bit, and working on taking off, sitting in this chair! I have lost about 50 pounds.

Actually, I have done this twice. Second time I only lost 150 pounds. But I wasn't as big as I was the first time either.

Here I am in Hawaii in 1993. (I took my Mom, because she always wanted to go and my Father would never take her. I'm glad I did. This was August of 1993, she died unexpectedly in May of 1994.)

Bottom picture was taken Spring of 1995. (Sorry for the goffy pic. I can't seem to find a better one.)

In about 18 months, I went from 407 to 171 pounds. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't break the 171 pound mark. I sank to the bottom when I went into my business partners pool. (I had less then 2% body fat, if that much!)

I was bench pressing 200-220 pounds on 10 reps (not saying that's huge.) followed by my chest and arm circuit, 4 times. That was Mondays. Legs and thighs were Wednesday, and abs and back were Fridays.

I did HCG shots with my lady earlier in January, I lost 40 lbs., she lost 25ish. poo shed weight like no other. After I lost the weight I died P90 for a while to tone up, and then went straight to the not-so-legal poo to bulk up. Worked like a charm and I was huge and cut. Then we went through a streak of horrible family losses and we both fell off and by the time football season started I gained back half the fat, and lost half the muscle. BUMMER!

I used to weigh around 310. 190 now. Feelsgoodman.

Edit: Forgot to actually add the story....not that there's one anyways. I just lost my weight by simply growing up..and maybe getting a job helped as well as portion controlling my food.

    • Yeah if Im running 70 in a 65 and your in my backseat Im locking my cruise control there and if you dont get the message Ill drop to the posted speed limit. Im at or in excess of the posted speed and have no obligation to yield the lane.
    • I love Chubba.  Been a fan since I heard about his story when he was at Ok St.  and no doubt his production and progression is impressive, but this is my one nitpick - he was always touted for his speed, having come from a track background, so I am honestly surprised he doesn’t have more breakaway runs for TDs than what he has achieved thus far.  But to be fair, it often feels like he is constantly having to break tackles, so when he breaks the last one where it would just be nothing between him and the end zone, that usually took long enough that a defender from the opposite side of the field got an angle to catch up.  I really hope with the receiver additions, Bryce moving forward with confidence and proving that ending stretch last season wasn’t an aberration, and another year of synergy for the OL, Chubba is gonna have some wide open running this season.  He is definitely special.  Proud of him and happy he is getting rewarded for all his hard work…
