Best hands in the NFC South?

From Pat Y Blog....

He’s a backup wide receiver on a losing team. But, at least statistically speaking, Tampa Bay’s Preston Parker has the best hands in the NFC South.

Parker has a division-best 97.2 wide-receiver catch percentage (receptions divided by receptions plus drops). According to ESPN Stats & Information, Parker has just one drop while being targeted 53 times and making 35 catches. He slightly edges out New Orleans’ Marques Colston and Carolina’s Brandon LaFell for the division lead after 14 games.

Here’s a look at the catch percentages for the rest of the division’s receivers after Parker:

Colston: 97.1

LaFell: 96.9

Legedu Naanee, Panthers: 95.5

Harry Douglas, Falcons: 95.0

Steve Smith, Panthers: 94.7

Robert Meachem, Saints: 94.6

Lance Moore, Saints: 94.3

Julio Jones, Falcons: 91.3

Mike Williams, Buccaneers: 89.6

Roddy White, Falcons: 88.5

Arrelious Benn, Buccaneers: 85.3

These "drop" stats have always been highly suspect to me. Naanee hasn't caught even close to 95% of catchable balls thrown his way. The first few games into the season he was dropping more balls that were right in his hands than catching.

yeah, it's bullshit.

all pat y writes is bullshit so i'm not too surprised

    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
    • Nah we just talking about giving a platform and normalizing predators (who both beat women) opinions and celebrating it if it fits your narrative.  If that's fun I'm fine being a miserable fug by not supporting P.O.S like that. N b4 you call me a libtard or some other dumb ish know I'm an Anarchist/Libertarian and believe both these dudes should get a complete ass whooping (at min) or something worse for what they have done to women in this world.
