If you're looking for who'll have it first, generally it's one of the "quick update" pages or one of the national Twitter feeds.

LaCanfora, Mortensen and Schefter seem to be the quickest off the draw from what I've seen. Glazer can be good too. His info is generally solid but he's not always the fastest to report it.

This is a link from a deadskins forum but they have an extensive list of links to mockdrafts as well as the dates they were updated. Have used this as a place to get my mock draft fix for a couple of years. There might be other places that are not linked to an opposing team forum but I have found this one to be ok

btw...i've got twitter feeds from every team in the league and other natl guys that aren't listed above if anyone is interested. i've got at least 2 beat reporters for most of the teams.

i used it when i played ffb.

Sounds good

That's something I've been meaning to do but never got around to it

i would add @ravensinsider to the twitter feed. he does a great job of keeping up with every team and will much of the time scoop a lot of the national guys. he's about as reliable as jay glazer, imo.

@ravensinsider is fantastic. That guy really does a good job of keeping up with every single team, almost before the team's beat writers know.

Will add more later.

Some coaching news from different sources...

Legendary OL Coach Hudson Houck is retiring from the Cowboys. He'll be replaced by Bill Callahan.

Colts may hire the Eagles director of player personnel to be their new GM.

Per Adam Schefter, Sal Alosi - remembered for the famous tripping incident on the Jets sideline - will join Jim Mora's coaching staff in UCLA. Probably shouldn't surprise as Mora once had Alex Gibbs on staff. Guess he's okay with guys who have a rep for being a tad dirty.

LaCanfora expects the Falcons to lose at least one position coach on top of having already lost both coordinators. Thinks former Jags OC Dirk Koetter could get the Falcons OC spot. Glazer doesn't see the Falcons going after Mike Martz.

Alex Marvez speculates the Dolphons could take a look at Hue Jackson.

Speaking of the Dolphins, this from John Clayton: He thinks the longer the decision process drags out, the more likely it becomes that Jeff Fisher will ultimately choose Miami. That of course, would leave the Rams to pursue other candidates (like Rob Chudzinski) :(

    • PJ's completion % was 63% when starting games in Carolina.  Which I believe is better than Bryce when starting.  And again, 4-3 as the starter here and the LONE QB Carolina has been able to actually win with in the Tepper era.  If you ask a gambling gunslinger to come into blowouts.....they are going to go down in a blaze of glory.  Which he would do.  Yeah, he isn't good.  And gunslingers are supposed to have rockier stats than checkdown QBs.   So....why does PJ Walker have a better comp % as a starter than Bryce Young.  And for every knock you want to make about PJ, you can find something or a skillset that PJ does better than Bryce.   I didn't say PJ had good field vision.  He doesn't.  Tell me about Bryce after he comes off the first read lol.  Let me repeat, PJ Walker is not a good QB.  He is NFL depth and an in house arm.  Bryce Young doesn't belong in a convo w/ Jake and Cam.  He belongs closer in a convo with the backup caliber QBs Carolina was forced into playing.  Which isn't just PJ Walker.  But Kyle Allen.  Moore.  Guys like that.
    • Oh I see what you meant by memory. I will trust my memory, I have looked a a lot of those ball charts for Bryce and they trend a general pattern. They thing that has changed that I have noticed more recently is the reduction in the bunching of behind or at  the LOS passes over to his right.  Aside from the quantity of throws recently since the running game has become a more dominant factor.
    • Yes but you basically said you are going from a quick skim of those charts without doing the same for Bryce and/or Andy. So you are going memory vs. snapshots. That's not going to be a very comprehensive analysis.
