I can't see how we could afford any major FA, also we have so much youth at WR it would seem like misplaced priorities to sign VJ. But nothing wrong with being an offensive juggernaut.

Best you could say for our youth at WR is average at best with potential, homer glasses off.

Gettis and LaFell are promising while pilares could get a shot next year. Jackson is better than all of them and would be a large improvement but it would make little sense with all the other needs we have. I think Chud and Cam will make the recievers look better than average as well. Cam needs protection more than recievers.

    • I don't know guys, this is a lot of praise for a rookie from a non football school, I'm not sold yet.
    • To be fair I bet a lot of people don’t sit and watch every college game, even if they do have the time to watch college ball there’s so many teams that you can’t  watch every game so most people just look at stats, highlight reels and sports pundits who hype up and rank college players.    looking at his stats where in the last two seasons he threw for 31 tds 3 INTs 68% completion percentage, and over 600 yards on the ground and 27 tds 2 INTs 69% completion percentage and over 400 yards on the ground.   those are amazing numbers, especially in the SEC.   I understand how the right system can mask a players deficiencies but you still got to give the player some credit. he also had a horrible injury in his last game of his college career which probably also effected his nfl career.
    • Bear Down!  Class of 2009 myself, and I was telling everyone (even those who wouldn't listen) in the world for the last 2 years that we needed to draft him (as everyone here can attest to lol)
