St. Louis - He could go here but why not Kalil?

Minnesota - Percy Harvin, Jenkins....maybe Blackmon

Cleveland Young WR's

Tampa drafted Williams and Benn last year...not happening

Jacksonville New Coach maybe but they need a lot more help. I see a FA WR

Washington - meh Rypien isnt coming out of retirement to play QB

He isn't falling to us.

Of all those teams none have WR as their #1 priority.

unless he gets arrested or really screws the pooch at the combine or gets arrested for screwing a pooch i just don't see him sliding that far.

his talent is too great and there are too many needs for a WR of his caliber, esp. in a pass heavy league.

now several years down the road as teams move to more of a spread offense where teams have 5+ receivers (WR/TE/RB) with 40+ catches in a year i can see the value of the WR taking a hit like RBs have because so many use a committee approach, but thats not for a while.

Blackmons stock will drop between now and the combine. People are just so high off him right now based on the Stanford game. Blackmon will go to the combine and measure in at about 6 feet tall, he won't be a tick faster then a 4.5 flat and he has inconsistent hands (makes some great catches but drops some easy ones). His major strengths are his explosiveness and his strength. Two things which will be harder to showcase against NFL DBs then the awful defense Big 12 or the Stanford DBs.

Mcshay isn't that bad it's that you just can't predict how good a QB can be. The problem that came up was people like Mcshay and Hodge predicted Cam wasn't going to be good. How can you do that and the guy isn't even in the league yet around this time last year? I was on the Cam hugger train the whole time and I got critcized for wanting the Panthers to take him. Look at how it has turned out so far. Over previous years I made picks and predictions that turned out to be pretty good.

Fact: Mcshay is a moron. Sorry to break the news to you.

With where Carolina is picking, Just about anything is possible. No RG3, Luck, Claiborne or Kalil. Anything after that though is a possibility to make it to 8 or 9th overall.

It would have to work out a bit different then most are mocking.

Indy - Luck

STL - Kalil

Minn - Claiborne

CLV - RG3

TBB - KirkPatrick

Was - TanneHill

Jac - Coples

Mia - Reiff

Car - Picks between Martin, Blackmon or Still.

There's a bunch of mocks that have Blackmon going to Carolina/Miami

WHY IN THE HELL DO WE NEED DRAFT A WR IN THE FIRST ROUND. Lafell is getting better Smith is not slowing down we get gettis back next season. We have at least one TE that we are keeping and Shocky maky come back next year. Stewart had a breakout season in the passing game.

We need Defensive linemen, Gross is not getting any younger and some help in the LB and secondary. Come on people. really a WR in the first. How damn dumb does that sound.

I agree like I said, It only takes one move like the redskins taking a OT or QB or maybe TB taking a RB or CB to flip the whole draft. You just never know, so you just can't say anything is out of the question.

Nobody isn't saying this is going to happen or anything is guaranteed. This is only What if scenarios. I rather take somebody like Devon Still,Kirkpatrick,or OT from Stanford.

What D Lineman would you draft at 8/9? None seem worthy of that pick at this point. If Blackmon is there, he warrants that pick. He has more talent than any D Lineman at that pick. I don't think it sounds that dumb if it's Blackmon.

It's not really that great of a need of ours but if he falls it'd be hard to pass on him. Maybe field offers to trade down. I agree we have other needs but it's about value.

How come when I posted this in my mock draft yesterday people said it can't happen but when there's and ESPN article about it, people say it's possible. Nothing in the draft is a definite.

I think Jacksonville takes him, their offense was dead last in passing yards (averaging 136 a game.. that's less than we had last year) and they have no weapons aside from MJD. Their defense is good. I don't really see a scenario where they pass on him if he's there.
