I've got nothing against Jacksonville. I've become a bit of a fan since Garrard was named the starter (& should STILL be the starter) since I'm an ECU fan & Garrard graduated from there. However, I despise Chris Johnson...greedy douchebag.

Garrard wouldn't have started even if he were still on the team. He didn't sign with anyone else because he had a back injury that basically put him on the IR as a free agent.

Your "flashy" offense only got you 1 more win than the Jags.

There is all levels of irony in this comment.

Last season the Panthers were 2-14. This year they are 6-10 with their QB who had so many supposed question marks about him. And the team could have been a whole lot better had their defense stepped up. Last season the Jags were 8-8with the same offense you're now claiming is the worst. This year your team is 5-11 with your "franchise QB" who you wanted so badly that you not only reached up for him but you got rid of the other two QBs who were ahead of him in ranking as soon as they showed any signs of failurer so he could start.

Last season the Panthers were picking first and Jags 16th in the draft. This year the Panthers are picking 8th or 9th and the Jags are picking ahead of them on the draft board. So remind me again why are u trying to look down on the Panthers because they won one more game than you did this season? Even worst is, you're doing it while trying to steal their OC in hopes that he'll do with Blaine and the Jags what he did with the Cam...hmmmmm

Yeah, humility is a scarce commodity these days.

Look, I'm a die hard Jaguar fan, and Panthers have always been my number 2 team, but why so much hate towards the Jags?

Sure, we MIGHT be taking Chud, but you have Cam Newton! He'll be fine.

Is it just the fact that you guys hate anyone who isn't the Panthers?

I honestly want to know!

I like the Panthers! Why can't you guys not hate the Jags?

I dont have any problem with Jacksonville. And I actually like Gabbert. I feel like the coaching staff in Jacksonville sabotaged him for much of the year. From undermining his confidence with the brace on the left knee that he didnt need, to the leaning away from pressure that he never did in college, I believe coaching had something to do with that.

The only reason panthers fans would be upset with Jacksonville is not so much that you got one of our coaches, but the fact that you got the one coach in the Panthers history that created a truly exciting and potent offense for us and then in the first year you take it away from us.

why do fans of other teams care if any other fans "like" them?

what football team wants to be "liked"?

truthfully, i'd rather be a team that everyone hates.

i guess liked is better than having everyone ignore your team and think that you are the next team destined to go to los angelas.

      i wouldn't say that yet. I also wouldn't say he's done anything that makes me think he's particularly good. i think that's about right for compensation both ways for thielen considering the state of the vikings and Panthers.  The weirdest thing is that technically the panthers should be adding veteran salary cap right now; they have a high cost first overall qb on a rookie contract; that's the best advantage in the NFL in this day and age. It hasn't worked out because, well, the qb they drafted isn't good and they've ignored other parts of the team to try to bolster him.  so what's morgan really supposed to do? Are they tanking with a rookie qb in year three that the owner probably personally wanted drafted? Are they actually trying to win games this year with 80 career catches between their top three receivers? The defense is probably going to be terrible. What kind of jump are people actually expecting from Coker, Bryce, XL, and performance from a rookie to overcome that? It's not realistic.  At the end of the day I don't think Thielen wanted to end his career here and I don't blame him. Minnesota is going to compete this year and Carolina isn't. I also think this is to toss Bryce to the wolves and be done with him one way or another. There's no way this works. This is not a move you make if you're trying to win football games.

      Love the way Duke came out and dominated Elon in the second half. Did not love the way they played at all in the first half. Got a lot of missed tackles on film for this week and the next game's not gonna be easy at all.
