Why are musical artists always assumed to endorse every topic that's in their music.

TV executives, movie directors and producers, and authors can all make works about truly horrific things and nobody believes they personally endorse them.

Probably bc many that sing/rap about violence......have committed acts of violence and keep close company with those who have and do.

Doesn't have to be raping women. Jut has to have substance. And I never said anything about those guys, in honesty I haven't heard a things from them and jayz is the only one that I know the name lol.

I have heard plenty of eminem though and it's garbage.

His talent does not lie in lyrics or an instrument. He may be a good rapper but he isn't the whole package. There are plenty of rappers, much less known who have it all.

There is no wrong answer, music is subjective. The raping women comment was exclusive to MM and I just think there is more to music than asking slim shady to stand up and talking about murdering and raping a weaker creature which now that I think of it probably isn't the case for MM.

Call me a women lover but disrespecting and disregarding them isn't music to my ears and I think we can all admit that cancels out 95% of 'well-known, modern' rap.

the fact that you haven't heard of Lupe or his music is enough to let me know that you are in no position to evaluate rap. Please stop

Well I can admit to being ignorant about his newer stuff, but I don't respect him or modern rap enough to even give it a try. I gave him props for rap ing you must of missed it, but like you said, it's the technical lyric standpoint not his actual lyrics. His actual lyrics can be written by a hormone imbalanced 14 year old boy with acne. I will admit from a technical standpoint he is genius. And to me this means he shouldn't be a rapper, he should direct music.

Imagine his lyrical outline with some real lyrics of substance rapped by someone who didn't sound like a kid. Now that might be good.

and yes it was his rebellious stage, and I can understand people liking it who liked it in their younger years. We all have those albums we keep around for those reasons.

And while I'm on it, I find it really interesting that most of the people that poo on certain things (not just music) hardly ever (not saying none of them do) actually sit down and listen to or watch it for themselves. And no, its not all the same.

True, I found this out when my kids started listening and I had to check out the lyrics. Not all rap is created equally.

49ners for the upset and tom shady wont win the superbowl this year. its all about defense baby.

cam is decent though, considering hes the first nfl player in history to do alot of things.

cam does need to HIDE his "sad" faces because you dont want the team to lose faith. one president(roosevelt?) could not walk but he would not let america see him because they would think he was not a strong leader. cam will learn the leadership role better, hes only a rookie. and please dont come in here talking about the military young leaders, its a WHOLE different "ball game". you guys dont like when football player compare sports to wars, so dont do it either.

in other news, The Golden Calf of Bristol is still the most overated football player of all-time, em just didnt want to say it. lol

eminem is kinda overrated too, he used to be real dope in the late 90's and early 2000's. now hes just pop, hes still better than most mainstream rappers though.

He pretty much became mainstream in 1999 and is the best selling artist of the 2000s. How do you overrate that?

      I truly do not understand why we rushed him back last season, we were a bad team with an already productive back in Chuba. Brooks looked like he was 60% back and clearly hadn’t regained full movement in his knee and confidence, no surprise he got reinjured. Shame on this training staff, look no further then Chuba returning too soon this season, I don’t care how bad a player wants to come back a training staff is there to protect them. Brooks is a great person and was an amazing player prior to both injuries, I hope he’s recovering well.

      Brother thanks for sharing and all. Just for a 21 year army guy you sure over used your brain power on this interaction little too much...  Not that's Im taking a side or nothing, Ive never been a bully fan * in extreme deals bullying in needed..... I've heard from smart people in and around Panthers, Smitty needed Angie for guidance BADLY.  I've honestly thought if Smitty was born 20 years later, he should have taken a MMA path and not only would he have been a champion but a humbled good man with or without Angie helping him. He has never took off the enmoureous chip on his shoulder and it has branched off as a stick in arse over time too. Still everyone can not be or act the same with emotions, we are chemical sacks of water and bones. He reminds me of brain-washed individuals that can not turn off the switch. Plus he is high on thinking he's smarting than he is.......its a dangerous combo, but that's mainly what gave him the edge in life to live out the American dream......soooo I dare say change, but its sad at the same time. All those poor women that get involved with narcissistic disloyal men, one of the few times I agree to take what ever form them in court...

      Completely agreed.  TBH, we have had so many great players that are in my favorite list, and I hate to narrow it down to one, but Cam is it.  Which is crazy, because you would think it would be more of the guys I grew up watching, but no.  Cam was the single most impactful player to ever out on a football uniform imo.  And like I said in an earlier post, I always felt a kinship with him in a lot of ways…  the way he was treated and judged for the off the field stuff in Florida and having to overcome all of that and fight show at back.  And although I am not a black man, I have always been welcomed by and accepted more by minorities, and thus, I know what it’s like to be judged by appearances rather than the content of your character and who you actually are.  I know what it’s like to be stereotyped and written off or mistreated for your mistakes.  I know what it’s like to be held to a different standard while your peers don’t have to meet that same standard.  So I always related to that.  And the way he came in and just electrified the whole franchise, man…  I still think about it often how much it sucks that because of how talented he was, our staff out so much on him and that ultimately cut his career short.  You’re right, there will never be another Cam…  I think Josh Allen is the closest thing we will see for a long time, but Allen is not the running threat Cam was.  Cam could run you over or around you.  That was THE absolute funnest time to watch our team ever.
