One of the most forgotten music, Every 20-30 years some "re-discovers" this, is Rag Music. Or simply Ragtime. Made popular in the late 1800's and Ragtime led to Dixieland Swing, that led to Big Band Swing music that led to Rock and Roll.

Like I said, music "rediscovered" Ragtime every 20-30 years. From the movie "Ragtime" to the movie "The Sting". The most popular of Ragtime, or sometimes spelled Ragtyme music was American's own Scott Joplin.

Scott was an Afircan American piano player who couldn't get hired by mainstream America due to the fact he was Black. But he could get a job playing in whorehouses entertaining guest's as they waited for a woman to become available.

What started as a way to entertain customers, became Ragtyme.

So here is two of Scott's most memorable Rag music.
