if you're relying on coverage sacks you're going to be very disappointed most of the time.

at first when i read that i thought it was downright stupid, but the mock they have makes it a bit plausible.

that said, i still don't see blackmon falling that far esp. for the reason they give...his 40 time at the combine. :rolleyes:

What do you guys think about the possibility of trading up to the 4th pick (giving up our 2nd and swapping 1st with Cleveland) to jump ahead of a division rival (Tampa) and selecting Claiborne?

Yeah, I don't think it will happen, but it is plausible. The guy I really want to fall to us is Reiff. I'm not saying I want us to take him, although I would be ok with it, but I think he is the one guy that could fall to us that a team would want to trade up for.

I have been thinking over what we should do for months and I have come to the conclusion that if we don't trade down and acquire more picks, then we need to go D-line with our first pick. Either Brockers, Still, or Coples. We can get a good CB later. We have to get a big dominate d-line like we used to have constantly busting into the backfield on almost every play.

I agree with your logic unless Claiborne is there. He is a top 5 prospect at a position of need. However, he probably won't be, so yeah lets get a top D lineman. Not sure if I want to throw Coples in with the group of guys I want though.

depends on the trade but given the likely cost to move from where we are to #4, I'd say no.
