Mr. Scot

nfldraftupdate (1/2) Per report, Dre Kirkpatrick claimed he did not know the marijuana was in friend, Chris Rogers' car, and Rogers accepted the blame.

nfldraftupdate (2/2) #Alabama CB Dre Kirkpatrick claimed he had been in the car when the purchase had been made, but was unaware what Rogers was buying.

seriously?

what did he think it was? juicy fruit? a snickers bar? oregano?

Show of hands. who here burns? Oh all of you? sigh...
I don't
me neither.

wasn't for lack of being around it. it just never interested me. doesn't really bother me that people do it, though. it's just being dumb with it hat has been the issue. this was a dumb brain fart of a moment and a pretty lame excuse, imo. dude should be more careful who he's around at the most important times of his life.

    • No one way to do it, it does appear that with the bigger draft picks of the last 5 years…..majority haven’t steered clear of young QBs on the roster being their hopeful guy. Especially past their rookie seasons but even some the biggest ones have had it early.   As far as Andy Dalton, the two young guys he has “mentored”…..have had very rough NFL starts.  Which really ask the why the heck is Dalton here.   He doesn’t really check any box.  No young potential.  Can’t step in and win.  And his mentor track record with Fields and now Bryce is bad
    • I had thought the Panthers might let him play out his contract this year and hope he stays healthy. If not draft a left tackle and move Ekwonu to right tackle.
    • Frankly, if most teams in the NFL lose their starting QB for a significant amount of time, they're screwed. The fantasy is that one has a future Tony Romo or a Nick Foles that can carry a stacked team. The reality is that you might get roughly 3~5 games out of your backup before it all falls apart. Remember all of Peyton Manning's backups? Utterly terrible. Speaking of backup QB's, Raiders may need one. https://www.nfl.com/news/raiders-qb-aidan-o-connell-suffered-fractured-wrist-in-preseason-finale-expected-to-be-out-6-8-weeks
