The thing with Poe is, we could use a lot of those hybrid looks that Rivera/McD want to run, use 3-4 personnel, etc. without losing push up the middle.

Dude is a space eater who can move.

I keep saying trade back, but he may have pushed himself up higher into the first than I think. Hard to predict because it only takes one team to really like him, but if we could trade back and get him and pick up some picks in the process, wow...

one thing about poe if i'm not mistaken is that he was a competitive power lifter. i remember seeing a lot of discussion about that a couple months back. it wasn't surprising that he would be that powerful. the speed is what really has impressed me, though.

Didn't Jenkins measure out at 5'10"?

Hope they mean if he drops into the 2nd.

Even if he didn't measure in a 5'10, I'd say that he still would fall into the second. The dude has had some serious legal/character issues, which I assume would put him into the second round, or the late first like Jimmy Smith last year.

I'd say we need to go:

1. Poe

2. Jenkins/Dennard/Minnifield

4. Joe Adams/Chris Rainey/scatback

I would be incredibly happy with a draft like that.

Poe has 32" arms which should mean that he would have a higher bench than Brockers (35" arms) though. Not necessarily the best indicator of strength, just sayin.

His arms are 3 inches shorter, and he put the bar up more than double the amount Brockers did. This is a direct indicator of strength. If only put it up 10 more times than Brockers I would agree with you. He did it 25 more. Brockers didn't even get 25. Poe is an ox.

It's start to shape up that way. Even if it isn't Poe in round one, the defensive line talent is going to be hard to pass up at #9.

strength is not an indicator of overall "work" as physics would dictate which includes distance traveled. This is especially true of when you are moving bodies around in the trenches.
