Its not happening at #9. Maybe if we went DL in the first and JJ was there in the 2nd but IDT we touch this guy in the top 10 if teams are talking about taking him off their board completely. Its Coples, Claiborne, or trade down IMO. IDT Blackmon will be there to discuss.

If you watch the video there is a couple times where alshon just reached over Janoris and made the catch.

He also held him under his average. You win some, you lose some. I was at that game and he had this one play (which I believe is in that vid) where he timed his jump beautifully and battled Alshon for a ball. Initially ruled an INT but it hit the ground.

4 kids, and all the trouble he's been in, I just can't see it, not with with our first round pick.

The kids thing is more worrisome than the weed. It's something that might not end well and something our FO will have to consider carefully.

Jenkins? Really? He was suspended at North Alabama for undisclosed reasons. Give him 4 million dollars. See what happens.

Talk about your smokescreen.

Suspended at NA? I don't think so. I believe he was ejected one game but I've heard nothing about him being suspended at NA.

I think with the coaching staff that has been given more leeway in terms of going after "problem" players and the presence of Beason, (hopefully) TD, and other team leaders would provide a good influence for Jenkins.

How does it not have a real barring in real life?

It's simple mindgames. It can work or else they wouldn't bother doing it.

Example 1A in favor of your argument:

The HUGE f*cking smokescreen deployed by the Patriots to con Hurney into trading UP to take frickin' Armanti damn Edwards.

Here is what I am going by:

One AFC executive told Yahoo Sports that he expects at least a handful of teams to remove North Alabama CB Janoris Jenkins from their draft boards due to off-field issues.

Jenkins has been arrested three times, was suspended at North Alabama even after being kicked out of Florida, has four children under the age of four, and had an admitted ongoing drug problem as recently as a year ago. "We haven’t decided what to do with him," said the AFC exec. "We might take him off our board. I know there will be 3-4 teams that will take him off right away, at least for the first round." Said one NFC executive, "I know this movie. It usually doesn’t end well." Added an AFC defensive coordinator, "It's a lot, that's all I can say." Feb. 26 - 8:53 pm et

North Alabama CB Janoris Jenkins was suspended by the Gulf South Conference for the first half against West Alabama after being ejected for throwing a punch in the Oct. 13 game against Delta State, a 30-24 loss.

I have never heard that and I am not entirely sure that's accurate. I think whoever wrote that must be betting confused being "suspended for a half" because of a previous ejection. He is making it out more than it really needs to be. It's not like NA suspended him for a disciplinary reason.

NA was winning that game before Janoris was ejected too. I heard he was egged on by opposing players from DS.

    • Damn good take, brother.  I think I take that poo personally because (sidebar: I don’t like to use narcissist often because social media has made it a buzzword and diluted the meaning, so when I use it, I don’t take it lightly) I grew up in a home with a raging narcissist, then married a narcissist and just came out of a divorce after a 20 year marriage with her, where afterwards she met and married another narcissist.🤣  And in my dealings with them, over my 41 years on this earth, at times I took great delight in breaking down their arguments point by point and forcing them to either acknowledge their wrongs and take ownership of them or watch them yammer and stammer away when they ran out of lies and excuses.  At various points, that was extremely satisfying, but ultimately, which I’ve realized especially after the last 3 years and going through the divorce and everything, it does NOTHING to them.  It doesn’t affect them one way or another.  For a logical, reasonable, grounded person, you would think calling them in their poo will bring it to their attention when they’re face when nothing but facts and truth and force them to change, but nope.  Not in the slightest.  They just disassociate from the ones who do that and find more people who will validate their behaviors and thinking.  poo pisses me off because they’re so destructive and couldn’t care less so long as their needs are met.
