Bucs could be trouble

I know they have a new coach with limited experience, but would not discount them. They are going after Vincent Jackson and Curtis Lofton and with the addition of a Claiborne will be much better very quickly. You never know.....

Bucs are not " could be trouble", they are TROUBLE.

i dont giv a fug bout people saying crap like new coach, fa winner doesnt win superbowl (look eagles). fug that. eagles will be scary this year and did you see what our new coach had installed for us last year on offense. worst to one of the best. other then our terrible defense

I could see the Bucs resigning Blount and then taking the shifty Lamar Miller at the top of the second round. this would still leave open the #5 spot to BPA whether it was Blackmon, Claiborne or trade down for more picks. Man, how sick would Blackmon and VJ be? With Blount and Miller as backs. They picked up on CB, but might need another. Either way, they have solidified their Oline, and are good at many places. If they sign Lofton, their fan base, as fickle as they are, should be very excited.

They are not 33 points better, and our defense will be better.

    • Exactly.  You let him play out next season and continue to develop Thorton.  Jackson’s earned his next contract, but his age and the risk of tying up such a large portion of the payroll at one position leads me to believe that we’ll let him walk. In all likelihood, we’ll draft another CB, or two, and bring in some journeymen to fill the roster void, between now and the start of the 2027 season.  That’ll create more balance financially across the roster enabling us to invest in other areas.
    • As far as the NFCS … I think this division will be hotly contested the next couple of years.   I am tending to pay more respect to both Atlanta and the Saints n terms of how strong they will be moving forward, than not.    I am mixed on Ryan but think they have a decent roster to start with. I don’t think he blundered hiring Stefanski. And that offense can be dangerous with a QB. Plus, defense is arrow up. No 1st round pick, WB issues will dull their effectiveness. Question is, to what degree?   I think Moore is going to be a good HC and can overcome tape that people have on Shough. They need a lot but they were playing with people. Just the way you want to see all the way to the end.    Not sure about Tampa they have Mayfield but I don’t think they can maintain their success and Bowles is not going to last much longer. They have to go through all that. Gonna be tough once it starts. Might already have started.    For us I feel pretty good about Morgan. But less so about our offense, we have some short term RB and OL issues and those things are critical given what we are working with at QB.  Overall, mixed. Like a lot of what I see but some major question marks remain.
    • Absolutely. If we are talking about a 20 year old youngster. He's a grown-ass man, and he doesn't know what his job entails or how to do it? Maybe he will be better next year! It's the Panther way.
