BUT WE NEED THE FREE AGENTS!!!!

guys we are simply not getting better fast enough. we NEED 2 superstar WRs. we NEED 2 shutdown cornerbacks. we NEED great safeties, they grow on trees and are readily available, hurney is an idiot for not signing them.

we also need 2 top flight 10million a year DE's, an elite DT and the best Oline in the NFL.

hurney cap wizzard? psh. i can build this team in madden in 2 years.

If they used all their cap space intelligently then they actually could have built a scary team. As it stands they blew through an enormous amount of money one 3 guys, one of them an OG, another a middle of the road cornerback. They still have a ton of holes, less overall talent than we do and their QB blows. I'm not worried.

I agree. Eric Wright signing just told me they were spending money bc they had to. Carl Nicks gives them a very good OL to go with a young DL that has a lot of promise...and Vincent Jackson was an excellent addition for Josh Freeman...but that team still has several holes in it. Probably more than we have, but then again, ours depends on injuries.

beason and davis are healthy, we have a great LB core. If they arent, it becomes a weakness with no depth. Just one exxample.

Guest BigA3723

thanks for the update i forgot we had that qb that won a Heisman from Auburn

Funny how his last two performances were a total Beatdown by Saints in week 17 and his appearance as an ALTERNATE to Manning in Pro-Bowl and was embarassed on the National stage with the worst performance by a QB in history of ProBowl. Gee, I'm sure the Bucs are really worried! Lol

    • It goes deeper than that for me. When I started watching the Panthers as a kid I fell in love with Mark Fields’ story during that SB run. He wore #58. Then TD wore it and kept the tradition of the being the soul of the Panthers. The next time someone wears #58 I hope brings that same spirit
    • T-Mac is a nickname, Tet is a shortening of Tetairoa. Like you said below... your name is Jonathan, I could see "Jonny" being considered a nickname, but Jon isn't a nickname, it's a shortening of Johnathan, see the difference? And if your mom named you Jonathan for it's biblical significance/meaning, because she was very religious, I think it would be different. T-Mac is Polynesian, so much in their culture has deeper meaning for them, particularly names.  So for his mom to feel this way, I highly doubt it's just because she likes the name Tetairoa and not Tet, it's much more likely than not to be because the name itself has a deeper meaning in their culture.   Particularly as T-Mac himself has often talked about how much his Polynesian heritage means to himself and his family. And no, I'm not saying all this because of how much he's my guy, if he was just "normal american" and his name was Jonathan and he didn't like fans calling him Jon, I'd probably just say tough poo.  It's that he's Polynesian and I know things like names have a much deeper meaning in their culture than they do in ours for the most part. For whatever it's worth, a quick google search.......
