Least Cap Space Entering Into This Weekend

According to ESPN, we had the least cap space at 1.08 mil. Wow, I was surprised to see this. I knew things were tight, but don't usually pay too much attention to the budget. This foreshadows some changes that are coming down the road---poo that may be coming down the pipe. In a way this pisses me off because I am so emotionally tied to my favorite RB, but business is business, and I---like many of us---will probably get my feelings hurt. As much as I detest flaming, I will try to resist the temptation to get the 55 gallon drum of gasoline out when I hear the news.

I was wondering why ALL the teams didn't do that. Seemed like a good move. I guess it wasn't fair to the tiny teams.

Objectively, I think you're right. They tried to be clever and got kind of a raw deal out of it.

Seeing as how we play them both next season though, screw 'em. I hope they lose their grievance and get docked even more cap space for incurring the wrath of the league.

Either way, I think those two games will be W's come this fall.

It's interesting that Hurney has not restructured multiple contracts yet. I recall hearing that Jordan Gross restructured, no one else has. He's gonna have to sooner or later just so we can sign our draft picks.

I remember hearing that too but, I can't recall if it was just a rumor or it was definitely happening but just not announced officially yet.
