New Todd Mcshay Mock Draft First Two Rounds

He produced in college and has freakish measurables.

Dude played almost every position on UNC's dline and was successful.

Way safer than Poe.

Coples production really isn't that great for someone who has such freakish measurables as you say.

Give me Mercilus in the second and I'd be much happier.

Edit: Yeah, I just realized Mercilus is projected to go much higher than I expected. You only hear a few names with these projections usually and I figured that meant he was out of the first round.

Lafell really came along last year showing nice / improved hands and being clutch!

WR is not a need RIGHT NOW imo

Smitty is still aging. We have no one in the stable to replace him....and LaFell looks to be turning into a solid player (nothing special though). That is all those outside see.....

Those outside also don't take the fan angle that Gettis. they dont think hr should counted as anything but a body at this point.

Neither of them are safe. Everyone knows how great Cople's talents are, in fact I've stated numerous times that if hes there, the Panthers should draft him, but its not a safe pick.

Jenkins in the second would be a dream scenario....

Not really, hes the 4th ranked CB on NFLDraftScout. And as i've said, the word going around now is that he won't go in the first round. Now that ALWAYS changes, but he isn't a lock to go in the first

I am sure they are considering his background and that's why he is the 4th. But really, as far as talent is concerned he is either 1 or 2.

    • Having trouble finding all these articles saying the Raiders withheld information. Here’s the latest from Crosby’s surgeon: ElAttrache told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Wednesday morning that Crosby was "doing very well in the early part of his rehab and recovery from surgery to treat a significant meniscus tear and the related stress injury to the bone and cartilage in his knee. He is certainly on track in his planned program." "We truly respect the work of the Ravens' staff with Maxx regarding the contract physical exam. We also understand the challenge the staff faces when tasked to provide a future risk assessment based on an evaluation early in the recovery process," ElAttrache said. "This is especially challenging when dealing with an elite player like Maxx considering the level of commitment necessary for a team to obtain him. The timing of this assessment is unfortunate because the apparent risk will lessen as his recovery progresses and his return to performance over the next few months becomes clear."     So the Ravens excuse is the future risk assessment based on the physical, not that the Raiders withheld information. They found an excuse to save face publicly. They had the right to cancel the trade for no reason at all, but they’re trying to save face with the most acceptable reasoning they can find. I’ve heard and seen the Ravens getting dragged everywhere for this. You know what would be an easy way to put a stop to that if you’re the Ravens and the Raiders were actually the shady ones withholding information? Just come out and say that you were not given all the medical information. But they aren’t saying that. I guess they’re just taking the bullet for the Raiders just because?    Speculation indeed.
    • Two first round picks for a guy with very questionable knees who will be 29 this summer. Yes it is safe to say the Ravens got cold feet.
    • The salary cap is the reason we got Phillips and Lloyd
