I remember watching this guy back at the NFL Combine. He tore it up, so much so that Eisen and Mayock interviewed him afterwards. Drew Rosenhaus is his agent, was saying that his performance was the best ever or something like that. He fell to the 4th round simply bc of his mental issues.

Goodson was going to be cut. If we had cut him, we would receive nothing in return for him. This way, we receive a prospect. We already win. Potential > Nothing every time. If the potential doesn't pan out, then we end up with precisely what we would have had with cutting Goodson. What Goodson achieves at Oakland is completely irrelevant to our situation. Seems Oakland had pretty much the same situation, so it's a win/win.

The fact that you have to spell that out in such detail for some members is quite sad really.

We forget that our head coach and offensive coordinator played the Raiders twice a year. They probably saw more tape on Campbell than we think and had the reaction of the Chargers D-line to his play for 2 years even if it was limited. It may not mean anything but I wouldn't jump to conclusions.

That this young man has overcome and dealt with what he has to get to this point, earning the honors that he has along the way, is remarkable in itself. He may be just the exemplary type of person that Rivera seems to seek out. Remember, he had total faith in Cam as a person when few others did.

Sad about the malformation/condition, I am glad he is not letting it hold him back. It's weird he used to play DE, as soon as I saw him I said to myself he could really be a beast at DE. Especially with those arms. TE too if he could catch. DE doesn't take much 'IQ' or concentration as tackle I would think.

A learning disability doesn't mean he's mentally disabled in any way. It could be ADD or ADHD or dyslexia.

Great pick up. Jeez louise. Remember him from a couple of years ago when the Raiders picked him. Great insurance if Otah cant hang. Kid has talent that our staff can bring out IMO. Goodson was a done deal.

Not sure he'll stick, TBH. Raiders fans seem to have a pretty low opinion of him, but Goodson was going to get cut anyway, so whatever.

He doesn't sound that "slow" to me.

Maybe he's just socially awkward or was nervous. Someone posted that he scored an 18 on the Wonderlic, which isn't horrible, and he seems to do pretty well with the Q&A in this interview.
