How can you say "I take 100% responsibility for the deplorable actions that happened under my watch", and then appeal your suspension?

Sean Payton is a fuging jack off IMO.

I'm sure they were coaxed into exercising their rights to appeal to try to save face with the league and fans plus buying some time.

Not that that will help their tainted reps but just going through the motions, worth a try...they guess.

I am not sure what's happen'n but, I know a part of it, is to get extra time, and get "terms" on what they can and can't do if I recall.

Some dude that writes for the Cowboys wrote an article say'n they should sue the commish, and the league. LOL

      I think he's gone, and rightfully so, if he turns in another losing record. The "talented roster," regardless of how true or not, is a double-edged sword. If the roster is so much improved now from 202X then why are you still producing losing seasons? On one hand, maybe that's what needs to happen. Have the GM hire the new coach, and then have the new coach pick his guy to run his system. That is typically how it works in the NFL. Not the forced inheritance deal we have had in place.

      Hinging on Brooks to be our spark...be good if it happens... but not holding my breath....RB next draft. Morgan gambled...it would be a 2 year payoff if thing happened.

      Only way Canales is fired is if we are attrocious everywhere....  defense /special teams and offense..  There are enough "questions" on if BY9 is the guy that ownership wouldn't fire the coach for "just" mid qb play.  Especially with as talented a roster that has played "well enough" to win some tough football games and hang in there against the top tier of the NFL ...(mostly).   Now total team suckage..yeah .. but I don't see that happening.
