2Nd Best Rookie Performance Last Year

if our QB wasn't built like a terminator with the agility of a cat......he would have been carted off the field thanks to Bell.

Yeah but I really think Bell got better as the season went on, also he probably is better suited at he G, position anyways, UDRFA wasn't even suppose to sniff the starting role, and he did his best he could do, we all give Cam the benefit of the doubt, when he struggled do to the lock out, shortened minicamp and Bell didn't have the chance to go to IMG to perfect his craft, we loss 3 or 4 lineman before the season started up until week 2, Year 2, Bell will take someones spot on the line (OTAH) and we will see then.

Bell improved with each game, but Keiser also played pretty damn good. Pilares not only gave us a spark on KR but he was also pretty good at playing the gunner role and seen him make several ST tackles. i agree with CRA Hardy needs some comp, and thats why im starting to lean on the Coples train.

I really don't think so, Bell did exactly what he was supposed to do more often than not, which is to stay in front of his man and allow Cam to be able to step up into the pocket. Cam had a propensity to jump in and then directly back out of the pocket. It's hard for anyone to block for a mobile quarterback. Where as you see Cam's mobility saving him from Bell's play, I see Cam's movement as something that can make it harder on lineman sometimes. That isn't to say that I dislike it.

Cam takes off and run when there's nothing downfield or if the o-line is in trouble, it's not as if he just takes off. Kalil has said he likes this about Cam is makes it easier on them when someone gets passed them.

Hard to say. I've got to say those KR TD's were impressive, and Bell improved as the season progressed. The DT's were decent at best. Keiser was the biggest surprise IMO. He got an opportunity most players in his position almost never get, and he capitalized on it and earned himself a roster spot for the forseeable future, barring serious injury.

Why does everyone call the players kids? They're grown men, lol.

Bell was decent considering he was an undrafted guy who was laying carpet as he thought he dream of getting a roster spot was over.......and BOOM found himself starting. But he was bad. would have gotten a QB like Clausen murdered.

Bell did improve as the season went on, but if you watch tape you'd be less impressed. I really hope the guy stays, his story is really sad, but we had to shift protection constantly to the right side. I wouldn't mind keeping him as depth because he is serviceable as a back-up.

    • Nobody on the huddle is saying we have an elite group offensively across the board. They aren't great. They're young. If you are expecting someone to agree with your position of blaming everyone around Bryce Young nearly three full seasons into his career you are going to be left holding the bag save for a handful of people who act like they are paid to defend his honor. Bryce Young is not a guy who has had to claw and fight his way into starting jobs in football. He's had the best to work with and been gifted roles since he was a teenager. The Panthers have one of the youngest rosters in the league and with us needing an infusion of young defensive talent in the upcoming draft we're only going to get younger. We need a QB who possesses the ability to elevate those around him. If you can't agree with me on that then there's nothing further to discuss.
    • All Bryce and the Panthers had to do was split with the Saints and a rookie QB. The bar was so low. They even had a whole bye week to prepare. The time for singing kumbaya was before that game. Anyone still talking about Bryce earning a second contract 43 games into his career is living a fantasy. He might get one from the Tepper owned Panthers but he's damn sure not earned it.
