Draft Crushes

Recommended Posts

I've looked at a lot of drafts over the past couple months and while the first round is predictably spread among a few prospects, I've noticed that the latter rounds also have many of the same players. Wanted to dedicate this thread to the Panther mock draft wonders. Some will be studs and others will be duds. Here goes. I have sporadic comments. Have fun ripping;

1. Joe Adams - this guy is everyones fourth round pick. He looked invincible in the runback against Tennessee about what it

seems a decade ago. He has achieved mythical status on this board since then.

2. Brian Quick - Heir apparent to the do nothing in the NFL Armanti thrown

3. Vontaze Burfict - Headcase with headlines.

4. The 6th round punter from Georgia. I admit his Jr high school brother is better than Baker.

5. Terrell Manning - local love

6. The white guy that ran very fast - do I need to say more?

Bobby Wagner

Keenan Robinson

Ryan Steed (CB Furman)

Juron Criner (AZ WR)

Crick - coming of an injury ridden season but was awesome the year prior...great size also....could slide to the 4th)

Brandon Taylor (S LSU) - highly underrated this draft season

Janoris Jenkins - Best cover corner in draft. I feel like I am one of the very few that thinks he's contrite in turning his life around. His past year is a sign of him maturing.

Bobby Wagner - Very versatile LB that can play inside or out. There are some tweeners out there but that's because they are stuck between two positions. Wagner can play ILB and OLB equally well.

Orson Charles - TE that would be perfect for our offense. They liked to line him off the line something that tan slates well to our offense. But that's not to say he can't block.

AJ Jenkins - WR that you can put outside to utilize his quickness. But he also as the ability to find the weak spot over the middle. Favortie aspect of Jenkins is that he does a great job of catching the ball with his hands instead of his body.

I feel like Joe Adams does so much more than just return punts. He can run out of the backfield, he can line-up in the slot, he can play coverage, he can kick return, and he can punt return. He can honestly do it all.

He wasn't fired by his agent. That was the report out there but that was just one side of the story/rumor. It was a mutual part. Here is the article I posted in that other thread.

Got it. I had never heard of an agent firing his athlete, and coming from Jenkins I figured it there had to be something fishy going on.

The knocks that players get for smoking weed are ridiculous, this is coming from a medical marijuana patient though so it's kind of biased. I believe he deserves that 2nd chance much like Jimmy Smith last year. Though the thought of drafting him at #9 seems way too risky.
