Either way, the mock's alright. Like some one said, I don't want both Paige-Moss and Coples. One or the other would be fine. The amount of ACC players in this draft makes me weary.

The last time we picked a UNC DE that was 6' 6", 280+, and wore number 90 worked out, so I say let's do it. Plus I can just go get new embroidered letters and bring all of my old Peppers jerseys back to life, so we've got that going for us too.

This cracked me up. I'm definitely going to dig my old peppers jersey out of the closet and slap some black duct-tape on the back and write 'COPLES' if drafted.

And really I can use the P, E, and S, so I only gotta buy 3 letters, that's gotta be pretty cheap right?

whether they trade down or not, Carolina will select Fletcher Cox. Carolinas hybrid 3-4/4-3 system will at times require them to have a player be big enough and talented enough to play NT. That guy is not on the roster. Fletcher Cox is that guy.

Is this the draft you would like to see or is it what you think the Panthers will do? I see how this could play out.I am not excited about any of the DL prospects but take to heart that Rivera wants qb pressure and dont see us taking a nt with Ron Edwards returning

Fletcher Cox isn't going to play NT in a 3-4. He's a DE in the 3-4 (which is what a lot of teams are projecting him at, and why the Cowboys want him so bad.)

And yes, Ron Edwards could definitely be a NT in the 3-4. (What he was in KC) Shirley is also of a size to do it.

      in starts, he has played better, been more efficient and outproduced Bryce by virtually every statistical metric that exists in 2025.  And has the 2 head to heads over Carolina.  I mean, your jaw should hit the floor.  But not for the reason you are implying.  That freaking stings.  Denying these realities isn't going to help the Panthers build a better team going forward.

      He is basically having a polar opposite rookie season than Bryce. 4-3 as a starter on a very bad team.  68% for 237 passing yards and 19 rush per game. 9 TDs,  6 TOs in his starts.  and folks acknowledge the surprisingly play because no one thought poo of the random 2nd rounder and he is player better as a rookie thus far than so many prized picks did as a rookies (not just Bryce but a boatload of dudes).   It's only a sour issue to give someone props because he is a Saint and of course the Bryce thing.  It's like giving the TE in Clev props for having near identical production as the chosen one Tyler Warren.  Fannin is having a great rookie season in a very bad spot.

      This is a very weird take. The reason Shough doesn't deserve it is because he's only started 7 games. He's doing crazy well for a rookie and out playing plenty of vets with a worse roster. He's waaay above league average in a number of categories during his starts and he passes the eye test in game by making plays. Meanwhile Bryce Young had one of the worst rookie seasons of all time. Still TMac deserves it more. It's only been 7 games for Shough so he doesn't deserve any awards. Even if he gets to 9 he doesn't.
