Do you know who he is?

The all time leading tackler in the NCAA. Drafted in the 7th round.

McGarigle became the NCAA's all time tackle leader this past season with 545 career tackles. He began his career in style as a true freshman, racking up 98 tackles on the year. He just kept climbing from that point on, playing with unbelievable consistency. As a sophomore he had 140 tackles, six for loss, one sack, and one interception. As a junior he posted 151/6/1 with another interception. He posted career highs as a senior, going for 156 tackles, seven for loss, two sacks, and a pick.

Tim McGarigle is a football player. That is the best way to describe him. He is smart, tough, and loves to hit people. He is very aggressive on the field, and is always around the ball. His ability to locate the ball and make the tackle is second to none in the draft. McGarigle has shown the ability to make plays sideline to sideline, and loves to attack running plays.

Lawernce Flugence

Flugence not only won the starting inside linebacker job that season for the Red Raiders, but also quickly established himself as a star. He led the Big 12 in tackles during his sophomore season with 154, then followed that up with 145 tackles his junior year. It was his senior season, though, that was truly remarkable: During that 2002 campaign, Flugence registered 193 tackles, setting the all-time NCAA record for most tackles in a season.

I think I saw him in the Pro Bowl last year

      I didn't move the goal posts. But anyone who follows football who wants to engage in a rational discussion can't argue that 10 7th round picks are equal to 10 1st rounders in value. The argument has always been we haven't spent as much on defense has we have on offense. Draft picks have value just like salary. We have not spent the same amount of draft pick salary cap on defense that we have on offense since drafting Bryce. It's not even close. Just the 2 1sts we used on Bryce, 2 overall 1sts have a value of 6000. That doesn’t even factor in DJ Moore or the 2 2nds. Bryce cost more than everything we've spent on defense in 6 damn years.

      Woukd be a great addition You know the issues from my prespective, 2 things the Panthers must do 1. Edge or pass rushers or 2 oline or 3 oline or as Andy Reid says, when in doubt, draft a lineman it is time   That oline is troubling plus a small person at QB  they   1. Can do a lot better than mayes at center, 2. and lewis has had injuries all season. 3. Moton should not have  been resigned long term, 4. corbett is a shadow and will probably be released  5 and Christianson coming off Achilles   6 and the kicker, would be Ickey’s contract if they decide to keep him INMO rookie and contracts will be needed to offset all that
