I do on occasion. I'm thinking on breeding next heat cycle. Check out ThreeOaksBulldogs.com located in Pilot Mt NC. That's where I got my first 2 bullies. Granted I'm not sure where your located or how far you'll travel but threeoaks has some top notch bullies. Other than that go to Bullynet.com and search your state for a breeder list. Avoid puppy mills like the plague. You may think your saving a few hundred dollars by buying from a mill but it isn't worth the risk. Bullies have many possible health issues that can run up some big vet bills so buy from good stock.

Hope you have plenty of expendable cash.

They are very expensive dogs, not just to purchase, but to maintain.

If you aren't able to stroke a $600 or more check at the drop of a hat, get a Golden Retriever.

Hip problems, knee problems, breathing problems, eye problems, skin problems, etc. That list goes on and on.

Many are on prescription dog food, and you can't leave them outside during the summer more than 20 or so minutes at the time as they will stroke out.

The one you see in the picture is a bit over 10 years old, and I have well over that many thousand dollars in him.

If you have kids or limited funds don't rescue a purebred. There's a reason why some one gave them up; health, aggression, etc. do your homework on breeders and get a feel for the people as well as their stock.

Legitimate rescue organizations will provide all of the background they have on an animal and will not allow adoption by just anyone who comes along.

Problem is with what background they actually have. I learned my lesson the hard way when I brought a psychotic boxer into the house. He lasted a week. Never again.

This 100 fold. Paying 1400 to 2000 is just the entry fee with bullies. I live in Greensboro now and a puppy mill was raided that breed bullies. It was complete chaos due to everyone wanting a bully for $400 adoption fee.

They are GREAT dogs but are a lot of responsibility. My bully is laying by my feet snoring away right now. They require daily cleaning of their wrinkles and prone to skin allergy. You will need to buy high quality food that is grain free. If you are a highly active person that wants a dog to exercise with then a english bulldog is not the right choice for you.They are very heat sensitive therefore mainly indoor dogs. They are famous for their ability to clear a room with their gas.

They are very loyal ,loving dogs with great individual personalities.

      Bryce has been in the NFL 3 years and still looks like a very mediocre QB. Most games are nothing but mediocre plays with a highlight reel every now and then.  He is a very INCONSISTENT QB and it’s very fustrating. He does not deserve a 5th year option, even though the Panthers and all the dumb asses in the front office will give it to him.

      I’ve rarely ever been more sure of anything than losing out — but how can anyone say with a straight face “Bryce hasn’t improved, but Canales has and he’s masks his flaws”. You have to be so out of touch with reality to put one way above the other when discussing those two.

      Last night was the classic example of a visiting team just holding on through the wave of emotion a home team has at the start of a big time game. Bama’s first two kickoff returns really set them back as far as playcalling and allowed OU to dictate field position. The emotion of the home crowd fed into what OU was doing at that point, and it felt like Bama would not be able to overcome that.     Once the kickoff returner was told to fair catch every kick, the game shifted, as Bama wasn’t starting each drive inside their own 15. It was then that Bama was able to make some plays, outscoring OU 34-7 the rest of the way.  I think the last 3/4 of the game proves Bama was the better team. OU was just able to ride the initial wave of emotion to a big lead, but Bama held on just enough.  However, had OU blocked the punt on Bama’s second drive and scored a TD (vice a FG on the ensuing drive), things likely would have been different.  Anyway, Roll Tide!
