And he is a cornerback.

Who cares if he is a choir boy if he can cover Roddy White?

Mushin Muhammad got busted with Weed and guns once.

Not about smoking weed.....about being a dumbass. If Moose was told after being busted.....no more chances I doubt he lights back up in a window that causes problems.

I also don't like him bragging about being a good fathered as he is kicked out of programs for being a dumbass. You know how hard it is to get kicked out of FLA during the Meyer era?

I care if he's going to draw negative attention to the franchise and miss games due to stupidity. Gamble can cover Roddy just fine.

I like him as a talent, but I think he's a wreckless moron who is too risky as top 10 guy. Don't know if I'd take him in the first at all.

You don't have your facts straight.

A. Janoris wasn't told this is your last chance. If you know anything about Urban was that he was very lenient and showed no discipline. His last chance was UNA and he abided by zero-tolerence policy.

B. Urban didn't kick him off, Muschamp did.

Jenkins is the best corner in the draft, there is no argument about it. He plays like he is 6-3 in a 5-10 to 5-11 body frame. He has great reactions, probably some of the best I have seen in a long time. He is super fast with great agility which lets him play of the ball if need be. He is very physical and can play up on the receiver as well as make tackles on players that are a good four inches and 65 lbs. heavier than he is.

Jenkins is also a phenomenal special teams player and he has the same ability to return kicks and punts that Joe Adams has.

I can guarantee you that if Jenkins had Kirkpatrick's height that no one would care about his off the field issues because his potential is absolutely insane. This kid can be a top five corner in the NFL and to take a chance on him in the second is nothing.

I don't condone Jenkins personal life, but people make mistakes and it takes some people longer to change than others (see Josh Hamilton). Like Cam Newton last year, the reward heavily out grades the risk.

So if we can add defensive tackle; Fletcher Cox tonight and cornerback; Janoris Jenkins, I don't see anything to complain about because we just sure'd up two positions and also gained two new starters with the first two picks we have in the draft.

It's time to hop on the Janoris Jenkins bandwagon.

I don't care about the weed.

I'm a stoner myself.... use to be.

the kids shows no responsibility, commitment.

Like CRA said, can't fix stupid.

He may not show responsibilty, but I don't know how you can say he doesn't show commitment.

After getting kicked of the Florida Gators football team he still had a drive to play football and he settled to play division II ball at North Alabama because he still has a love and a passion for the game.

He also didn't receive any special treatment at UNA as they had him as a gunner on special teams and as a kick/punt returner. He played all over the field and never had any on-field issues.

If that's not a commitment to get better, then I don't know what is.

I guess you guys are so use to Hurney waisting second round picks, that you guys are prepared for him to waste another.

C'mon now. I understand you not wanting a guy.

But just because you don't want him, or think he is committed. Doesn't mean he is a waste or automatically doomed for failure.

Just try to realize that nobody, including you, knows for sure.

    • I have been looking for a dropped pass list and all that comes up is QBs. And team stats. When I do receivers I get the passing stats for a handful that threw passes this year.    I wanted to be accurate but anyhow I was looking because thought I remembered reading where T Mac had more drops than XL this year.  One of you many smarter than me people here,I would appreciate it if you know how to pull that up, please do. Thank you.    And yeah I know that isn’t all there is to it I just thought it was interesting.  Of course what the hell is a drop lol.
    • I agree with this and I think it's worth mentioning too that Bryce is not consistent on his placement and especially velocity and that in large part is driven by his footwork. We all know XL doesn't have the best hands and I don't know that he can overcome that. Cam always had the heater that just hit your hands and sank into your grip, where Bryce has some that are harder thrown, some soft. Bryce stepping into a pass looks so much different than that hop throw thing he does. I think XL really needs to hit the jugs machine and start learning how to catch all these different touch passes. TMac and Coker don't have these issues. If XL doesn't get some work in he's going to be out of the league in the next couple of years.
    • I think most people like XL from a personal standpoint. I don't think he's stupid either. Although if we are being realistic he is lacking in football IQ at this point in time and it cannot be disputed that he has not taken working on his craft seriously at all times given the body of work on the field. It speaks for itself. I myself have defended him at times given the circumstances of our QB room. But he is now in his third year and 25 years old. We are not in a position as a franchise to go around babying anyone especially first round draft picks. He needs to take his position and his football career seriously or he is going to end up selling used cars somewhere. I hope he realizes this and takes an extended break from social media because that mess certainly isn't going to increase his net worth if he ends up out of the league. And these hanger on types will disappear quick too once that money dries up and it surely will eventually. We'll see how he responds.
