You all had some valid points on the recent troll influx.

From now on new huddle members shall be labeled NEWB. NEWBs can reply to topics but cannot start a new topic of their own. Once a NEWB has 50 posts he/she is promoted to Huddler automatically. Topics can then be created.

Last night, after 5 years of reading this board as a guest, I registered just to place the new wave of trolls on ignore. The amount of idiocy was absurd.

In theory. It was either register & block them or risk entering a state of mental retardation. Everytime I read one of CamNewton1's threads I could feel my IQ lowering & my brain going into thermal mode.

Unfortunately there was not a simple fix. Had to dig into the code on the server and edit a file. I'll be invoicing all of you later.

Just bill it all to TruCatzFan. I'll have a talk with his wife when she comes over tonight for her daily "workout" & have her sweet talk him into paying it. Your welcome.

I love this board and have been reading it for years. I tried for awhile to sign up but I could never get the registraton email, used a diff email address and all is good. I really appreciate the time and effort the mods put in it. I have found some great information before it was ever released, injuries etc. And to the people bashing people with CAM in their name, don't let a bad apple spoil it for the rest of us. I do blame the people who respond to those threads, they are just as much at fault for keeping those threads alive. Thanks again mods. See you in Spartansburg.

      Well yeah. Last time vs NO if we had had good QB play and half ass pass pro it is a different game. And that is the story more often, in point of fact, than the two or three hero games everyone wants to use to define the player.  That box was so stacked against the run it was basically impossible to break through it, you had to go over and around. It is what we knew was gonna be employed by teams and we were unable to stop them from doing it.    I am real interested to see the first 3rd and 8 and see how NO defenses it in the back end. Because they can look at that Rams tape and learn, but will they have enough fear/respect that it can happen to them or will we need to prove it again before they do?   Most people don’t learn from others’ mistakes and  need to make their own.

      I like that Tillis is so down to earth  we will see where it goes ill say something controversial on a day that, along with next week, determines the panthers 2025  and 2026 fate  he referenced ‘money ball’, statistics and self scouting multiple times. it really makes me feel that Bryce will be back regardless of what happens over the next 4 games as that is the smart move for financial stability but by no means does that guarantee Bryce anything past that.  They will improve year over year regardless of position or who is affected       however, they will do the appropriate diligence and not cut off their nose to spite their face….it won’t be an emotional decision…unlike us Huddlers….for example, if Young’s happy ass shits the bed today, I’ll be less than pleased ..particularly having seen what they will do and having a bye week.  Brandon Staley is a good defensive coordinator and former HC.  His defense is aging but he can still develop a good game plan
