Fine, I'll be the only one to say just stop. Give Davis a coaching job or put him in the front office or enter acting with marking, don't let that man go out the a ruin his knee till it isn't fixable again. How many times can it pop before the tendens just had enough. That knee isn't going to be worth poo when he gets oldder in a couple yrs. Most people with bad knee complain when its cold or it rains, Davis knee will freeze up if you drop a glass of water on it

I don't think he will be in THAT bad shape after his career is over. He has torn the ligament three times. They keep fixing it up and letting it heal. How could that be worse than a guy that pops it off completely the first time and continues to play for 8 years? The guy hasn't taken many licks in the last 3-4 years. I would be much more worried about the guys getting their heads beat in.

It's not a tendon, it's a ligament, and it's not the same ligament each time. When you have a complete ACL tear, they remove that ACL, then take something from somewhere else in your body (middle third of your patella tendon, part of your hamstring, etc.) or a tendon from someone else (not as reliable) and put it in place of your ACL. Amazingly, your body can take something like a tendon, recognize that it's not supposed to be there, break it down, and turn it into a ligament. Then, what used to be a tendon or muscle can turn into a new ACL.

I did tear up a bit when TD got hurt against GB this year. Yeah I'm a bitch, but TD does things the right way and if he can't play anymore its a damn shame because he is everything that a professional athlete should be, but too often the others are not

    • KP is not a straight up carbon copy but they look awful close to me.  T
    • You are right. At the same time I don’t think people are watching games going come on Bryce put it on the ground or sail it OB or whatever. They just have trouble seeing him turning his 3 or four or five top games of 2025 into the weekly standard outing. Which you expect for the kind of money he will ask for (speaking for myself anyway).
    • In terms of comparing Pickett and Young's arm talent it's basically a push at best. Pickett is sitting at 6.2 yards per pass attempt for his career while Bryce sits at 6.0 Last season Bryce was 6.3 in yards per pass attempt. Only Justin Fields Spencer Rattler (both 6.2) Kyler Murray (6.0) 41 year old Joe Flacco (6.0) 44 year old Phillip Rivers (5.9) rookie Cam Ward (5.9) and Tyrod Taylor (5.8) had less pass yards per attempt than Bryce Young in his third season as a starter. Folks going around acting as if it is beyond the pale to say Pickett might have a better arm than Young are living in an alternate reality. You can choose to not believe your own eyes after 46 games but everyone else will acknowledge reality and move forward accordingly.
