I suppose that it's easy to be satisfied when your ancestors basically received free labor and real estate. Hell, what a life when your main job is to amend and manipulate the laws and policies to make you richer and keep your foot on the necks of the poor. If I were morally bankrupt, I could see myself doing that too. Oops, for a minute I thought I was in the tinderbox.

Ancestors=/=Us. Our society as a whole is a far more moral society than our ancestors. It used to be the norm in ancient societies to marry 13 year old girls, if you need a reference. The main problem I see with the majority of liberals is they seem to think that all rich people get their money by stepping on people and through corrupt means when this is simply not the case. Sure there are some sideways motherfu*kers out there but that doesn't mean everyone who happens to have come upon a fortune had to be a morally corrupt person to obtain it. If someone has a good, original idea they deserve to reap the benefits of said idea, there is nothing wrong at all with making profits. A lot of people these days just want things to be dropped in their laps they don't want to put in the work to be great. I'm not directing that to you, only you know if you're that way. I know that when I'm at least relatively successful someday I will be able to say that I did it on my own, I didn't have a damn thing handed to me. That is how it should be, you reap the benefits of the amount of work you put in.
