A Our WR position

B a decent WR FA

C if we feel more FA are going to be willing to come to Carolina now that we have a productive offense.

And to answer a multitude of questions, yes, I believe we need another WR in camp.

I do not think Lafell/Gettis/etc. are the answer.

This team needs an upgrade at WR and DT. I do not think the current talent on the team is going to pan out to magically be something special.

Do we have a great team, yes! can we be even better, I think so.

develop what we have. Brandon Lafell, David Gettis, K. Pilares, and Joe Adams will be solid contributors on an already STACKED Offense. We dont need to throw names around. If theres any position we DONT need to sign, its WR.

We need depth at D-line, possibly another LB, and more with D-backs.

Fantasy Football 2.0. Incredible. Every single time a player gets cut. We got some Huddle GM ready to bring him in to take the #2 spot or fill some role that we have 5 or 6 qualified players to do.

You need lots of big uglies for replacable parts, not WR's. Saying you can never have enough WR's couldnt be a more off. What does that mean anyways? Get 10 more receivers? Really? wtf

Half of the camp roster should be scrub receivers because one day Smith needs to be replaced. Makes perfect sense right?

Then replace our young guys who have shown improvent and are about to hit their stride with a lazy guy who has done nothing in his career because once he was a first round pick and just needs yet another chance.

I hear Rod Gardner and Charles Rogers are available as well. Bring them all in and add that tall white receiver who once played QB for Arkansas to the group. You simply can't have enough receivers. Screw our guys, just give all the new bunch all of the camp snaps. One of them will surely turn into a Hall of Famer.

That is the question that I pose to you by starting this thread. A lot of people think no. I am not so sure, but wanted to see what everyone else thought. A lot of people see Mike Williams as having a lot of talent, but never being in a situation to showcase it. Lets see, I believe he was stuck on Raiders and seahawks...... Who were the QB's he was working with there? Tavares Jackson and Jamarcus Russel ??

Give me the stats behind your statement? Gettis and LaFell were 4 and 5 among rookie receivers. Gettis was on his way to being #2 last year before he got hurt. LaFell improved as the season went on.

What gives the impression they aren't the answer. Cause you say so?

Most receivers don't come into their own until their 3rd season. Gettis and LaFell both will make teams pay for doubling Smitty.

While I agree Williams didn't have the QBs to make him great Gettis and LaFell did alright with a QB arguably worse than Russell and Jackson COMBINED.
