WFNZ is staffed by idiots

Local radio is so bad I felt forced to buy XM. Im so much happier now but I occasionally tune into Mac. Garcia has lost me for good so has Brett. Too much bullshit just to rile people up, too much nonsense. The station's programming should'nt be controlled by a Bears homer.

WFNZ is basically a large TROLL of a radio station now. I tuned in for about 5 minutes today to give it another shot and Hitman was on there talkin about some bullshit again. Lol, stay in booth, retard, maybe Zarzour would get better if you paired him with someone that doesnt work on coloring books during the show like Mr Awesomeness Marc with a C for fuggin clueless.

I mean, youre getting ratings because the Panthers are fuggin kickin ass not because you know how to shock jock and piss people off to get them to call in or listen.

Sure there are things to get excited about but their ratings have been driven by the Panthers recent success? Not sure I follow.

No one that actually knows anything about sports should listen to Taylor whateverthehellhisnameis or Marc James in the afternoon. Before we drafed Cam they said he would be terrible and we should sign McNabb. Then before the draft this year they said well everyone knew Cam was going to be great and Hurney would have been stupid not to draft him.

They make my head hurt when I turn over there and they are still on.

The fan base is on it's ear right now with anticipation. FNZ is just about all Panthers, all of the time. Trust me, if they start rattling off hour after hour of baseball or the Olympics, their listenership (is that a word?) would drop like Jeff Otah in a pool.

lol...at the Otah reference.

I dunno about FNZ being all Panthers all the time. Right now it is and rightfully so but as far as I can tell, SEC football and ACC basketball is still the king of this market most of the year.

I love me some Mac Attack during the season. They were getting me pumped up this morning talking about the.season and stadium atmosphere.

The Jake interview was great yesterday on the drive he had a lot of good things to day about Charlotte and the team itself. They also played the clip of his TD to Moose...gave me goose bumps...so exciting

Pretty sure his scenario was Stewart for Hall and a mid round draft pick and he wouldn't do it without that mid round pick. Of course he isn't as big of an on-air twit if you put down what he actually said. They were discussing the need for cornerback help on the opposite side of Gamble and he was putting together a realistic trade scenario unlike the fans wanting to trade Stewart in exchange for Revis and a first rounder.

I understood the rationale behind it. But while it may be a realistic trade scenario, it's still a terrible idea even with a draft pick thrown in.

Hall Isn't exactly Champ Bailey. And given his age, best case scenario has him as a bandaid, not an upgrade. I'm not giving up Stewart for a bandaid.

Like a pareto chart, 20% of the possible subjects make up 80% of the discussions.

Youre not sure you follow that the most polarizing player that we couldve brought in is driving ratings on your shitty radio station? really? Ya, Im not sure youre capable of following then.

The shock jock and piss people off radio is old and tiring . . . and for stupid rednecks thatll take the bait. People want panthers news so they tune into that piece of poo. What a shame they have to root through so much garbage just to get a nugget here or there.

With how pissed off and insulting you are it seems like the shock jock whiner line stuff would suit you just fine.

    • Saw this show up in my new feed. Nice to see a couple of our rookies making it into the top 5 so far, even if it is a pff measure... From https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-top-15-rookies-week-9-2025 ... 4. TE Mitchell Evans, Carolina Panthers (78.7) Evans struggled in the Panthers’ tight win over the Packers, finishing with a 41.8 PFF overall grade — third worst among tight ends this week. He was not targeted in the game and played only one snap in pass protection. He did log 15 run-blocking snaps, and although he earned a 68.9 PFF run-blocking grade in zone looks (seven snaps), his 39.0 mark in gap schemes (second worst for the week) dragged him down to a 46.6 PFF run-blocking grade overall — sixth worst for the week. Despite seeing zero targets over his past two games, Evans still leads the Carolina tight end group with a 74.3 PFF receiving grade. He has caught all nine of his targets for 90 yards, six first downs and two touchdowns. Evans also leads the Panthers’ tight end group in PFF run-blocking grade (72.2). He has recorded a 20.5% positive play rate across 175 snaps.  5. WR Tetairoa McMillan, Carolina Panthers (78.6) McMillan had a better day against the Packers, recording four catches for 46 yards. Most of that production came in the first quarter via two 16-yard catches — one of which he snatched from Carrington Valentine’s hands, who was in perfect position to break up the pass. McMillan accounted for three first downs on the day, although Green Bay was able to limit his impact after the catch, holding him to 0.8 yards after the catch per reception. McMillan now has 41 catches for 558 yards — a top-15 mark. He is also tied for second with 19 explosive gains of 15-plus yards. Three of McMillan’s catches against the Packers came between the numbers, bringing him to 22 for 318 yards and 19 first downs (tied for second most) this season. He owns a 26.1% threat rate and a 76.6 PFF receiving grade between the numbers. He also ranks in the top 10 in explosive gains (10) and yards after the catch per reception (5.5) within that area of the field.
    • At least we don't need to hear overreacting about towels ...
    • Actually there is, try being a Charlotte Hornets fan. I mean the team fuging moved at its peak and hasn't recovered since and that was 25 years ago
