Atlanta based Panther fans

Last year a few guys from Atlanta were getting together. ... Don't remember where. There are 0 panther bars, but you can develop a relationship with a smaller bar pretty easy if you are a regular. I live in College Park, and the problem I discovered was that if enough Atlanta fans came in, they could complain enough and get you moved or even have the Carolina game switched if persistent enough. However the Cam Newton factor may change things around since 1. He is awesome and 2. He's from College Park.

As far as the Georgia dome, I will be there. First year I'm taking wife and kids, since I have matured and won't automatically punch anyone that says something disrespectful. However it's pretty tame at the Georgia dome. I went to our playoff game in Philly and they were ruthless. No real horrible seats in the GA dome, but you want to sit in the 200 sections near the corners are the best view.

I live in midtown but meet up with friends at firebird in dunwoody on game days. It's a steelers bar which obviously can be annoying but the staff knows us by now and always reserves us a table in front of the tv showing the panthers game. No sound but like others have said there isn't really a great panthers bar that I know of...

I go to Hudson Grille in Alpharetta where I live. I have a tv on the patio reserved for me on game day. You guys are more than welcome to join me.

For the northern crowd, a few of us were thinking of JEFFREY's on GA120 in the Duluth/Johns Creek area. It's kinda near the Hudson Grille.

Biggest problem in gathering Atlanta folks in one place is that nobody really wants to drive more than 30mins to get to a Panthers bar. So let's spread the wealth around the city...

If I lived in ATL I'd go to the Yard House at Atlantic Station. Hundreds of beers on tap and good food. Last time I was there they had this great Sweetwater Tasty Nugs IPA that was around 9.2% alchohol content.

These places are all over and I highly recommend them www.yardhouse.com.

Taco Mac (various locations around town) has better/bigger beer selection than Yardhouse... and you don't have to pay for parking.

    • Bryce hasn't done a single thing to prove he deserves to have his option picked up.  I'd have less of an issue with us declining the option and bringing him back as the starter next year than I would have us picking up that option, as that means he's on our cap books for the next 2 years instead of 1, even if he's cut before year 5. Tua threw for 3,500 yards with a 25-8 TD-INT ratio in just 13 starts the year before they picked up his option, and then threw for over 4,600 yards before they gave him his extension. Kyler threw for 3,722, 3,971, and 3,787 in 16, 16, and 14 games (while rushing for 544, 819, and 423 in those seasons) before they picked up his option and then signed him to an extension before year 4. Jones threw for 3,200 yards with a 3-1 TD-INT ratio with another 700 yards and 7 TDs rushing in year 4 before they signed him to his extension. Bryce has thrown for 2,877 and 2,400 yards in 16 and 12 starts his two seasons, while being on pace for 3,128 yards in a 17 game season so far this year. The closest comparison to any of them was Jones, who while he's turned it around this year, is someone I think everyone can agree was not a player who deserved that extension after that season. If people think those other QB's having their options picked up and/or given extensions were a mistake, in what world can you look at what Bryce has done and make any rational argument for him even being brought back as our starter next year, let alone also picking up his option that would cost us about $27 million fully guaranteed.
    • I don't think we would actually play Hooker but hopefully we also just don't see. I don't view Dalton/Bryce as a worse option than Winston/Howell. I just think we disagree on this specific subject is all.
    • I guarantee tepper would fire him if we lost out and he’d be justified
