Is this a prediction thread on who will make it?

No its the opposite. The top half are pretty much ones guaranteed to get cut imo. Then then bubble players are on the cusp.

If I thought all those players are going to make it I would ban myself.

Just for clarity heres my most likely to make it (49) total, this leaves the 4 final sports open for competition.

Pretty decent list. Always hard to guess and when your talent exceeds your roster you are going to lose a good player or two. I fear they will keep Clausen unless we trade him for a 7th rounder in 2020. Jared Green is the only player on the cut list that I hope we on the practice squad. You cannot teach that kind of speed.

What strikes me is how many decent players are on the list. Our depth is definitely better than last year.

It is going to be tough to make the last 5 cuts. They are not going to be no-brainers.

Edit: One additional thought...look for them to use IR to stash a player or two. It is a way to keep someone that might not make the top 53, maybe is too valuable for the PS (or is ineligible), but someone they see having a future with the team.

    • I presented that scenario because this is a home game and we seemed to have improved in some capacity in that area as of recently. The problem with the possibility of sweeping the Bucs is this team has had a habit of quickly falling victim to momentum shifts. The Bucs are coming off a bitter loss the same as the Panthers but the Bucs have a much better proven track record this time of year and they have performed when the pressure is on unlike our Panthers. We have a shot against the Seahawks here in BOA but that is a matchup that could quickly get out of hand because they are a well coached team and that goes back to the momentum shifts I mentioned. I just don't see this team beating the Bucs in their stadium to close the season. Tall order to say the least.
    • I’d give it another year for Sanders and Evans, I don’t much care what you do with Tremble’s spot. Let him have another year or maybe replace him. Haven’t looked at his contract so that may be the determining factor.
    • Following the crazy up down pattern we finish 9-8 with an improbable sweep of TB, and lay an egg in the home playoff game.  I don’t know if I can sign on to sweeping TB but I suppose it’s possible, they aren’t really that good this year.    ps I can buy beating TB Sunday and losing to Seattle.  Then it just gets to can you fluke one game. Any given Sunday. So we’ll see.
