Panthers REALLY old logo. Any of you guys got one of these?

This is thought to be the original Panthers logo that was given to Sundrop in 1993 that got changed real quick. They accidentally released many cans in 1996. They took all of the cans off of the shelves within 2 days of hitting the market. Just thought I would stumble through another off season topic. Pretty dull compared to what we have now, but back then, I thought it was the greatest.

Man I was totally unaware of this logo. So the franchise has had a total of 3 logos?

This is the first logo. It never saw the light of day officially. I bought 3 six packs and display the one you see in the pic next to my Six Million Dollar Man lunch box, LOL!

    • Agreed ^^^^^    The only roster player who may be in play is still a prospect in Blake (hes one that makes sense and he's a minny native to boot)  Nadeu is a better prospect than many give him credit for think  Blake/Nadeu 2 firsts 2 seconds and maybe a teir 3 prospect or two. A hefty price tag but one that would no doubt give the Canes the firepower to go toe to toe with Florida..   Kaprisov-Aho-Svech Ehlers-Jarvis-Hall/Stankoven    (In this scenario acquiring anther elite wing would be enough to finally play Jarvis at C)   Yea its small but that would give us two 1st lines....  and LOTS of firepower think about how easy our first line scored when we had Guetzel and think X2
    • Maybe had he been drafted where he was supposed to, 2nd/3rd round by a team that didn't have immediate and critical needs at his position then it would have been different. I generally tend to not believe that but at least he could have developed where he needs to, buried on a depth chart and with no pressure to perform.
    • You are correct. I forgot that Glenn hired him when he went up there.
