The Dolphins offense

Holy poo that is one of the worst things ive seen since...Our Clausen led Panthers two years ago. They might rival our production that year.

In all seriousness, I kind of feel bad for them. I think Tannehill is better than pickles but their situation looks like ours was two years ago sans lameduck coach. Even down to Matt Moore competing for the starting job lol.....

Tannehill hasnt looked bad the last 2 games. Last night his crap WRs screwed him. They dropped his checkdowns and passes in the flat....if you cant even get guys to catch the garbage stuff you are screwed.

I'll have to watch again. He seemed to get better. I don't watch that close when attending games. I believe he had some big 3rd down throws on his 70+ TD drive.

Tanne had happy feet the first couple of drives, his rookie RT Jonathan Martin was a fuging turnstile. He looked good on the td drive. But when you're throwing to Marlon Moore, Roberto Wallace and Jeff Fuller.....its going to be a long night for ANY qb.

I am happy with Tannehill for what he didnt do. No dumb passes, no ints, no stupid mistakes. Checked out of some schemes, audibled good, and the game didnt look too big for him. Considering its his first start and 2nd preseason game. Ill take it.

We need to get him some weapons asap, or we will be looking to get Rams-type of compensation for someone trading with us for Barkley next year with the first overall pick....

Theyll be drafting top 5 next year but will be set for the future. Got a pretty good QB to groom for the future. A pretty nice OLINE in Long, Pouncey and Martin who will only get better. And good D.

Only knack on then is they have no wrs threat and Tannehill is a rookie. Other than that, they couldve been a pretty good team this year.

Shouldve kept Brandon Marshall, wished Chad didn't screw up or could still sign Plax.

    • I don't think anybody with a brain thought or thinks we are a legit super bowl contender this year.  I do LOVE the young core group that is forming. Part of the reason I defend Bryce Young is that if he is not good enough, we're going to waste a lot of this young talent we have anyway.  You don't go from 5-12 to super bowl contender in one offseason unless you get a major injury back or get an insane free agent haul. We currently can't hang with the best teams in the league.  We are also much closer than we were 365 days ago. Progress is good. There's still an outside shot at the playoffs, but I am really excited to see what Dan Morgan does with this offseason. Rico Dowdle a big decision. Jalen Coker, Brycen Tremaine, Cade Mays, Austin Corbett, Brady Christensen, Nick Scott and Christian Rozeboom are the guys we have to make decisions on. But this rebuild should be over next August. Or we have to do it again.  Improvements needed at pass rush and linebacker for sure.  Expecting us to win a super bowl this year is like expecting a kindergartener to do calculus. Is it possible? I guess so. but 99.9% shot it aint happening. We played like doo-doo against the bills, but that was definitely a penciled in loss from the day the schedule came out. Candidly though, if Bryce is ever going to be it, next year is the year we need to start being really good.
    • Yeah he put us in too big of a hole in which we had to pass more.  3rd and long with a slow roll out and he tried to tuck in and run with a fumble in the redzone.  3rd and long with an INT on our side of the field.  Then we get to like the 10ish yard line with less that 30 second and no timeouts (even Greg said we have to try to quick throws here), what does Dalton do?  Take a sack allowing us to barely rush a FG out (which missed due to being rushed).  You absolutely can't take a sack there.  Throw in getting sacked 6 additional times with 2 additional turnovers.  He also missed TMac on a TD where Shaq was trying to cover him and missed an open JHJ on a big gain.  Box Score watching won't tell the story yet people are going to try to do it anyway.   Now it's pretty clear he isn't the upgrade that some were claiming he is, but they can spin it differently I'm sure.
    • The combined record of teams we've beaten: 9-21. Some of y'all get fooled so easily.
