How Much Playing Time Will Clausen Get?

Don't want to chance Anderson getting hurt by some dude that is trying to make the squad, so let ole Jimmeh play all night.....hell give em the game ball as a momento of his time here in Carolina, make a highlight video for em', whatever, just keep Cam and Anderson off the field

F-ING A!!

I farted I laughed so hard on that one.

I will never look at the Jimmy the same again.

I usually think of Misirlou when the wife is getting in the bathtub or as I approach any public urinal.

Dammit, now I gotta geta a new song for my Jimeh. :(

if there's any theme right for jimmy getting chased, it has to be this...

only problem is the chase is always too short so i guess they'd have to play it on the replays from a bunch of different angles.

I think it would be more productive to practice our 'wildcat' offense with rotating players taking the snap. Don't we have some WRs or sombody who used to play QB in college (other than AE)? HS maybe? Read Option anyone? Can anyone find Henning's old playbook? Anyone?

Punt on first down? Practice fake punts all night? I haven't seen a true wishbone offense in awhile? Pistol? I would prefer any of this to JC's David Carr impressions.

*Collective Sigh* - What body language tells me the other offensive players are doing when teh Jimmay goes in during preseason. Deflating he is.

Luckily, I have a fantasy draft that will cover the 2nd half time period, so I will be subjected to a maximum one half of Pickles football. I will dvr and ff thru all the Pickles play just to see the defensive players and STs.

And for the record, I would not play Jimmy the entire game, or even one play. Ever. Like letting you dog pee on the floor without recourse or reprimand. It's just counterproductive for all involved, and it stinks after awhile.

End the madness Marty!!!! Please! Just make it stop!

Not that I will wish an injury but wouldnt just be easier to see a career ending type situation if only to make it less awkward for the Panthers to release him.

Sorry Jim, we thhought you were ready to make the next step here..I really hate your elbow stopped moving forward. Sucks... Peeeace!

-door slams and muffled applause happens as Jimmy looks aloof.

Not sure If we should play him to see if something, by some miracle, happens. Or to let Anderson come in and play so we can find out who will be that last WR.

They better play Jared Green and Lamont Bryant damn it. Tired of seeing Armanti and Tutu.

No point in playing Green and Bryant if they don't know the playbook. They're not making the team.

    • lol, that second part is quite literally one of the dumbest things ever. Having or not having guaranteed contracts has absolutely nothing to do with how much these billionaires have to pay.  Because there is a hard cap and a minimum cap spend requirement, and teams either use their cap or roll it over to use it all the next year, so the owners have to pay the same amount of money in the end no matter what. Having fully guaranteed contracts in the NFL would only hurt salary cap management, and thus would end up screwing over the team and its fan base when teams kiss on signings as they take up cap room that is needed to improve the roster. Look at the Browns with Watson, they gave him the fully guaranteed deal and all it’s doing is sucking up massive cap space now.  If they hadn’t done that, the owner would still be paying the same amount of money each year as that cap space would still be used elsewhere. If you want to argue for fully guaranteed contracts because the players deserve it, that’s an entirely different argument and a fair one to discuss.  But anyone against fully guaranteed deals isn’t doing it to argue for the billionaire owners.

    • Ryabkin could be the steal of the draft, he was a Top 10 pick heading into last season and had a rough year.  Lots of GMs passed on him because of that and his workouts. Pick has really high upside and Svech should be able to translate Rod tearing his arse a new one for making dumb plays since Svech has had several years of it.  🤣😂
