So we have a "leaked" report of Cam getting a mind coach.

Then Rivera says "If he is great".

Then official Panthers Twitter sends out "Rivera says Newton was proactive in seeking out mind coach. Noted it was not done thru team, but a case of Cam seeking to better himself."

Now Cam : "what the fug are all you retards talking about?"

I'm so confused.

Wow WTF is with this team? Rivera has lost complete control of this locker room. This is reminding me of the Bucs last year when Raheem lost his locker room. Can we please get a new coaching staff?!? PLEASE. Jon Gruden please come coach our team

I wouldnt doubt that Rivera is losing this team by the minute.

A NFL head coach doesnt win his team by being completely "stoic" at all times.

Rivera brings no attitude and no identity to this team.

to me this is easy.Cam is uber competitive and equally uber immature. it will balance itself out.

I actually don't think Newton is anywhere as immature as is being implied. If you look at what he has had of his shoulders since we first were I introduced to him at Auburn. He puts a ton on his shoulders and never says a negative word about anyone....never points a finger (and he easily could).....he just hates to lose.

I think Smitty shows more immaturity overall than Newton. I do agree with one thing Rivera has said, people do need to get on Cam's level. Need more that eat and breath the game.

I don't want a QB that loses on the big stage....and then goes out and pals around at mid field signing cleats for Eli ( see the guy who didn't block for an early score and celebrated a catch much later than Newton's Superman). I want him to hate that moment.

What's confusing, that's exactly what happened.

-Mort made up a rumor and published it.

-Person read the rumor and asked Rivera about it.

-Rivera said "I don't know anything about that, if he's doing it it's not through the team, but if he is, it's great that he's being proactive."

-Panthers twitter and other sources leave out Rivera saying he knows nothing and take it as confirmation.

-Nobody bothers to actually ask Cam until after all this.

Tune in Sunday baby!!!! 1 PM live from the Georgia Dome. The Carolina Panthers. Just one week after making the all the pundits and talking heads look like IDIOTS for picking them. This week no one will take us. No one will pick us. We are the underdogs with no chance again coming off an "in house" controversy. I cant wait. Sunday cant get here fast enough!

This is what Person reported.

You mean like most athletes working with sports Psychologist??? Damn...you folks are funny. And why would the media want to make the leap from Cam having a towel over his head to seeing a shrink if they are not over sensationalizing everything with Cam?? SMDH

Some of you folks are seeking your own attention with your sensation spins on everything Cam.

I'm not really concerned about the chronology of it all. I'm just confused on how our coach can be this clueless as to what his star QB is doing.

a mature, level headed leader can have a buring drive to win at all cost AND also keep his focus and perspective. he isn't the first guy to hate losing.

He is 23.....he isn't suppose to have reached his elite maturity level yet. The Pro Bowl WR is the one without an excuse

    • Sunday Ticket is now offering a monthly subscription if you're not interested in subscribing for the full package Keep in mind that the full package will be less expensive than getting billed monthly for the same timeframe.  But for a one-off month situation? Certainly an option to consider they also don't seem to mind if 2 households share the same Sunday Ticket login. If you call and ask for discounts, they kinda allude to "do you have a friend you can share the cost with" in the conversation
    • Watching ALL the games will require: Antenna or cable access to local broadcast partners to view the games of the local team. Due to blackout restrictions, the local games will not be available on Sunday Ticket.  What this means is that you DON'T NEED Sunday Ticket to view those local team's games. All games for a local team will ALWAYS be available on a local broadcast partner, no subscription required I've had success streaming the evening Sunday and Monday national games directly off the NFL/NBC/ABC websites, no subscription required. That said, ESPN may require login via your cable provider account - but it's included in your cable fee, so have fun with that.  NBC is available for free via antenna (or avail via cable, take your pick -- and ABC has been simulcasting the ESPN games, so that's also an antenna/free optio. The Peacock and Netflix exclusive games will require subscriptions to those services if the teams are not your local team YouTube will broadcast the Brazil game free  NFL Network for those random thursday games that aren't your local team... until the ESPN partnership comes into play, in which case your ESPN subscription should give you access (lots of assumptions with this bullet) Everything else is pretty much Sunday Ticket or go to your local bar I may have missed one, but the general gist is above In short, don't believe the online influences who say you need to purchase a full-year subscription to a service to watch "all" the NFL games (ie full year of Peacock). Because you don't need a full-year sub.   So no -- there is not a single service that will let you watch ALL the games Sunday Ticket will only cover you only for the sunday daytime games.
    • Aaaaaaand... ND immediately throws an INT. Tried to run that same screen they've ran a dozen times tonight and Miami had two defenders sitting on it and he threw it anyway.
