I watched the intro, with the song and credits last night....and I started thinking about how the first season may have been a little dark, alot was unknown. If I remember correctly it had a suspenseful/thriller feel to it. And I asked myself, what if they had taken the dark twist to this, stuck with Vampires and maybe wolfs, and just had a badass show like Walking Dead? Instead they took the fairy approach.

I guess the only reason I keep watching is that I committed alot of time into this show. I braved out a horrible, horrible Season 2, hoping that it would get better again, but it really hasn't. If it weren't for the teeny boppers, lonely middle aged women, and saps like me who got sucked in, then this show would have been cancelled already...It is on freaking pace to have more seasons than the Wire for crying out loud!

Just watched it. The show was always over the top, but now it's just getting ridiculous. I won't stop watching since I'm so far in, but I'm to the point where the show is just on in the background as I do something else.

This show is executed like a "Saved By the Bell Episode" with the actors vomiting on each other trying to overplay their characters.

It just is so loud now.. Everyone screaming for attention with 120 different lame storylines. Sad...it had a style in season 1 that made it cool...but it took what made it really lame and amplified that.
