People who offer advice

Don't you just love it when people offer advice to you when you never asked for it.

The old dude that lives behind me gave me advice about my lawn and garden. No offense to old people because i think some are very wise, but dude don't give me advice when your poo looks like poo and mine doesn't. To top it off the advice he gave was inaccurate. Moles do not eat your grass, they are carnivorous and their favorite food are grub worms, the reason why you have huge patches of dead grass isn't because of the moles eating it, it's because your dumbass keeps pouring gasoline and kerosene on your lawn to kill the moles. Just get rid of the grubs and the moles will usually leave.

Old dude gave my Mom advice on how to get rid of moles, according to her he was right. The elder said bubble gum works like a champ, JuicyFruit works even better...

I realize its beside the point of the thread, thought Id share regardless....

    • Just stop, man. All the college stats don't matter. Plenty of guys who put up big numbers in college flop in the NFL and you and I both know that there are 1st round and top 10 busts every year. While we definitely hope T-Mac isn't one and we hope he proves to be a great NFL WR, you can't assume poo about a rookie who hasn't played a down of NFL football yet.
    • therein lies the problem.  Carry on
    • Again, it's not about performance, it's purely a statement about his ability as a football player. Which right now, is better than Chark ever was, I don't understand how that is a controversial statement. This isn't someone who had a 1,500 yard season with a dozen touchdowns while being a threat the other team was afraid of on every snap.  It's literally a guy who had a couple good games and then was just peppered with targets in the others because the team had no other viable WRs and he still barely cracked 1,000 yards, and then was barely even a JAG for the rest of his career outside that one season. Just look at it this way, take names aside, you're saying a guy who's peak was 1,008 yards and 2nd best season was 706 yards, was a better football player at that time than a WR who was just taken in the Top 10 and had multiple teams trying to trade up to get them. That's beyond asinine thinking.  I'm genuinely not even sure Chark would make the argument himself if he was being completely honest and objective about it.
