Panthers 17

Rg3 225 yards passing, 1 passing TD, 1 rushing TD, 67 yards rushing

Their RB goes for 100 yards

Cam 300+ yards, 1 TD, 1 INT, 1 fumble

Stew 16 carries, 56 yards, 1 TD reception

Im confident our D will make Bob look a lot better than Cameron. Im confident Washingtons D will step up and make plays. There gonna show us how a defense rallies behind their leader.

Against a less than stellar defense and with the read option as our base package finally tossed out the window, our offense finally looks like it should have all year long. Since week 3, with the exception of Atlanta - who we put up big points against, we've faced some pretty damn tough defenses, I think this is the week they finally get their rhythm going.

35-21 (we've historically had troubles with mobile QBs, so they'll get some points...)

WAS offense relies heavily on quick passes in the middle of the field. Our weakness is on the outsides with our young/undersized CBs. With Fred Davis out, and an aging Cooley, if this D plays like it's been playing the past couple of weeks - we'll hold them in check. I think our LBs are too fast for them - Kuechly, TD and Anderson make a super athletic LB tandem that can control that middle of the field passing. If our Dline can control the LOS, and put pressure on Griffin, I don't think we'll have much trouble.

Defensively, they're just bad. Like us last year bad. LBs can't tackle and CBs can't cover. Cam, Smitty, JStew, Olsen, DWill should all have a very good day Sunday. Like fantasy starter good day.

so you're already covered if Cam (still can't understand why you're the only person on the face of the earth other than his mother that calls him Cameron) get's out played by Bob. Interesting....It's the defense's fault.

and.....I don't understand why you would take a shot at our "D" like you did.

    • We need a Sam Off Ball Backer to pair with Lloyd. Lloyd is a strong Interior Will especially in Pass Coverage- but that is also Trevin Wallace’s archetype. Need a Rozeboom style run stopper. Rodriguez and Allen fit that
    • There aren’t that many ways to screw Day 2 up.  That’d be them making an obvious reach, or selecting at one of the few positions that we are pretty solid at. Because as excited as we are for the growth and improvement this team is showing, it’s still not an overly talented or deep roster. Honestly, there aren’t really many positions I’d feel bad about. Feelings about Bryce aside (because we are not going to select a QB), it’s really RB (bad positional value) and that’s it. I guess OT too since we grabbed Freeling in Round 1.    While not as high on my wish list as other spots, you can justify WR or TE.     Interior offensive lineman who would likely take over an interior spot either this year (at center) or guard (next for cap casualty of Hunt or Lewis)? Fine by me.   Dlineman? Yes, that’s a highly rotational position and we have zero quality depth.    ILB? Yep, could stand for an upgrade over Wallace.    EDGE? Absolutely wouldn’t hate another option to spell Phillips, Scourton, and Princely.    FS?  Would love to add better coverage skill set to the backend of the defense. Moehrig and Ransom are great in run support but not as good deep. Adding a more traditional FS would allow us to mix and match/run some 3 safety sub packages and or a big nickel type look with a SS down near the line for better run support in possible pass downs.    CB? Could stand to get better at nickel.
    • Sounds like Veesaar is entering the draft. He could always test the waters and pull out and return but without him our big men look like a serious liability. Better do something in the portal. If they don't do something about this portal madness my days as a college sports fan are probably numbered. This bullshit of having a nearly entirely new team every season is gonna get old fast.
